not much activity here so I will double-post. :dopey:

14.489
33.567

I was running 0 tcs and that was the cause of the power drop.

MrJ
Seriously, it took me some 60 laps or so before i got near 34s
at T2. With some minor changes to the car setup and a TCS of 3,
I finally managed:

T1: 14.687
T2: 33.710

I prefer to race with no TCS but on this wet track I have it set on 1,
just for that extra bit of speed control.
I started with no TCS and I just made a mess of it.

If that wasn't Bad enough I was running splits of
15.683
35.502
???????

Then some 50/60 laps later, going through the settings I realised I was running on Racing Super-Hard tyres.
:banghead:  :dunce:

Yeah I know...

What an idiot!

I'll post my splits when I get some better ones.

15.375 - 35.345 - half a second faster at the s/f

i realize that this type of challenge requires you to sit for 2 hours straight and do nothing but run laps and fiddle with the settings. and that i don't do 'cos of real life and the other gt4 stuff i got going.
so i'm not complaining about my meager performances here but do think that more effort would mean more speed and less seconds.

luxy update will follow soon, gtg to my running group now (talk about real life!)

my first week in the wrs!
i don't like it the brakes dont work and the car flies around more than superman!!!!!

so far....
T1 15.347
T2 35.759

no offence superman!!!!! :banghead:

After what feels like a million laps and with a very odd setup I've done a 14.607/33.606.

smartcar, you picked a difficult week to start!

EDIT:
After wasting most of the morning I'm down to 14.422/33.366. Again this week I find my best times happen after I unplug the power for my DFP.

EDIT 2: Testing my Wii browser.

Smartcar is only eleven so for a long time, every week is gonna be just as difficult for him!

I put him in the car (i'm his mum!) and on the track dry for a while to get him used to it, but i think i hindered him cos all the braking points etc changed for him! it did help him practise the track tho....

Tsukuba's a good practice-track, especially for practicing smoothness. And moving from the dry to the wet will come in handy should the WRS ever run a brakeless RUF again ;)

Managed to improve my time by .5 :D
Splits aren't much better but it's lap time that counts :)

14.601/ 33.628

TCS on 1 and rest of set up I just made up as I went along :P

Ive had enough already....

Its too little grip and a colour scheme that i cant cope with.

I like to drive things sideways, but if its detrimental to the cause, then there's no fun attached.

Therefore, i submit, for the first time in a very loooong time.

My T's were:

14.572
33.615

I reckon the fastest guys/girls this week will be dragging the car round the hairpins using the kerb and the dirt just off it to pivot.

Good Luck everyone
:irked:👍

14.817
34.532

No time for this one, but better a slow time than no time... :)

Time submitted.

Ran a quick few laps and I hate it! and I am crap in GTmode especially in the wet :scared: anything to get a time submitted anyway

... 14.486 / 33.426 ... ( no kerb and grass here anyway ;) )

Time submitted and looking forward to some arcade car racing again as 1 GT mode race per year is plenty for me :P 👍

I'd like to step in this week, I'll have to chop out some sleep tonight to make it happen though...

We'll see if I get to get to it...

Did not really like this week - Tsukuba is my least favorite track - but it seems like I'm not alone. Anyway... managed pretty decent splits

14.569
33.497

but a fairly poor finish, so we'll see where this ranks

Time submitted

I really really like the way the S2000s handle on this track in the wet, mucho fun.
hey all...
:) A good week to stick your head back in. I've been away since week 106, if I remember correctly... 👍
Ahhh, the good ole VEXD signature... Good to see ya man!
No time for this one, but better a slow time than no time... :)
That's the spirit!
Time submitted and looking forward to some arcade car racing again as 1 GT mode race per year is plenty for me :P 👍
:P:P:P:P:P:P

Splits:
14.700
33.774

Submitting.

ehhh ... kyle? :) maybe check the specs for this week's combo? it's another car you're supposed to be using :dopey:

edit LU and submitting too after too little effort for this week's combo and feeling VERY hopeless about improving my skills here ...

I didn't use the S2000, I was just pointing out that the S2000s are really fun to drive on this track in the wet with power in them. :)

i think Kyle was referring to my comment about racing S2000's around here in the wet, as i did when i raced a S2000 LM around tsukuba wet for BC5...

Hey! Just once I would like to see a red split time next to my name on the weekly leaderboard. As this will probably be the only week this will ever happen, could one of the leaderboard updaters kindly insert my previously posted

14.422/33.366

and give me my tiny little place in the sun? Thanks! And I use a DFP!
