This week a three laps race without AI in Time Trail.
So please read the race specifics well.​

Week 118 Race Specifics:

*- Start your race in Time Trail.
- Drive three clean laps in a row.
- Just after the finish of lap 3, going into the fourth lap, exit the race.
- Save the full replay.
- The exact end time of the three laps together will show in the replay theatre.

*- Only the first 3 laps in Time Trail will count,the replay must show lap 1,lap 2,lap 3.

*- All paved areas are track regardless of lines and cones.

*- Please send your submission to Sphinx and Mr P......Edit: Your submission time will be shown in the replay theatre.



Standard Clean OLR Rules:

• 
  
  [*]2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
  
  [*]rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
  
  [*]no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  
  [*]if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  
  [*]no hybrids
  
  [*]no cheating of any kind
  
  [*]nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules
  
  [*]save your replay ('Save Replay' icon)

Thread rules:

Submission:
All submissions must be sent by PM to:Mr P and

Time verification:
Save your replay and keep it at least a full week after the time has been submitted:

  [*]all gold times each week will be required to submit a replay for verification
  
  [*]any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  
  [*]when a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide a replay before the next race deadline
  
  [*]failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from WRS results
  
  [*]video replays are not accepted, only .max, .xps or .sps files can be verified

Yep,it is the only Impreza sedan WRX from '02 and has a nice four color choice

When saving the "full replay" it will save the time based on how much time was spent in the replay.
I'm sure that will include any distance after the 4th lap has started and it may also include the early pre-first lap time as well.

So with that in mind, good luck getting accurate results this week!
Also, be sure to kill your race immediately after crossing the line to start your fourth lap.

I actually thought the same as Kent and just took it for granted anyway I just checked against my 3 lap save and Sjaak is correct and only the 3 flying laps are included in the total save time 👍

Thats pretty cool and can certainly add a bit more to the game to prolong its life until GT5 Nice find mate

say i start out a go for this week's race. i mess up the first lap but then have wonderful laps 2-4. can i save that total replay and post/submit the calculated t's/laptime(s) from that effort, or does it have to be lap 1 thru lap 3 and nothing else?

No way, three laps rewards consistency, and is closer to an actual race simulation than the one hot lap we usually do. It's a fantastic combo and I'm looking forward to running.

Ok, Before I post anymore splits, are you ladies and gents going to frown upon those that boogitie all the way down the straight with two tires on grass and two tires on tarmac?

I would frown on that myself, would a race driver do that in a race?? No i don't think they would but if its within the rules what can we do. I leave it to each drive to decide on that rmk but im not gonna do that if that helps.

I haven't done it and wont be doing it either! ... even if it has an advantage it's a silly mistake in the games physics and should be declared illegal 👍
