My first splits:

T1: 0'18.444
T2: 0'46.271
T3: 1'19.903

I didn't like this course at first because of how intimidating it looked(this and the Grand Canyon), but I enjoy it alot now.

New, less embarrassing splits :D

T1: 18.132
T2: 45.585
T3: 1'19.177

Took the really slow route around the long hairpin in the tarmac bit.. lost about 0.4 of a second I think. Oh well..

I think I've got all the 'easy' time to gain done in this time - the next .5 sec for me will be difficult/lucky.
17.900
45.014
1:18.492
Tried to get a Colin-esque pic from the replay - the jump is the best shot methinks

Dayum mang! 👍 1'18s in 6 laps, while I can't do a clean 1'19 in a full half an hour...

Thanks man but look how slow I am compared to the top guys! It's all relative I guess :sly:

LeaderBoard Updated 👍

I would like to ask racers to include their Division and controller type along with their splits so I can get the board corrected. Thanks!! 👍

Also I will be spending more time on the BC7 this week, but I will try to keep the board current when I can. ( meant to hit the edit button but quoted myself instead! double-posting fool I am :dopey:)

Updated my sig to show DS2 as my usual controller.

After a session I have this to show
17.837
45.074
1:17.974

Not a big fan of dirt and snow but I like this one much better than Tahiti Maze we ran some time back.
The one thing I find frustrating (well... besides my woeful skills) is the somewhat random placement of the "invisible" walls - some places you can go very wide and be OK and others you can feel a hit just from having the tail hung out just an inch or two beyond the berm.

I'm not normally a clean rallyer, used to slamming into the walls at will, so this is a bit of an adjustment this week.

First clean splits to report, with a lot of room to improve -

19.308
47.691
1:24.081

(Division 3, using DFP)

Thanks
Kevin

Newer, Faster Splits:

T1: 0'17.573
T2: 0'44.987
T3: 1'18.163

For the leaderboard:
Div:1
Controller: DS2

I know it's been a very long time since I was active in GT Planet, but I feel that, given the topic of this week's race, it would be the least I could do to pay tribute to one of the greatest WRC racers that the planet has ever seen.

Long live the spirit of Colin McRae :(

Unfortunately, I STILL have no MaxDrive, so I will be ineligible for any type of podium standing.

welcome back jayden. good reason to return (altho: what reasons do you need to play the best game in the world? :) ).

you'll only be asked for a replay if you gold this week or are randomly selected to do so.

have fun playing!

I guess you do have a point there, but since I've been doing nothing but buying upgrades for the cars that I have (literally all but 3 of the entire lineup in the game  ) it tends to get a little repetitve :banghead:

Any suggestions as to what to do to make it a bit less dull? :odd:

Jake, I don't see an updated leaderboard as it evidenced by my uncomfirmed Div and Controller, even while I confirmed them with my new splits.

That was eleven hours ago ,

Please remember racers who do all that extra work are not on the payroll of GT Planet.
They have social lives.:sly:

At the time I posted, I didn't see anything different. Must have been, the phantom:sly:

lol, I'm aware of that because I do too:). I was just stating what I saw.

... or do we now, sjaak? according to me most wrs addicts - me anyway :) - have a stitch loose somewhere, are socially somewhat handicapped :dopey: and order their lives in such a way that gt4 (5?) can be played every day or almost that.
not that i care ... 👍 👍 👍

Just posting the times from my first clean lap.

T1 - 0'19.196
T2 - 0'42.274
T3 - 1'22.099

New Splits:

T1: 0'17.420

T2: 0'44.523

T3: 1'16.722

Seconded.

I still lack a social life, but that's because of my job. Unless you consider that social

After my first laps:

17.345
44.167
1'15.995

It shows I never play rally :ouch: It's a great combo nevertheless, big fun

Hope I can give it a more serious shot Sunday night and set a 1'14.5 or so T3 on the leaderboard :dopey:

Slightly Faster Splits:

T1: 0'17.041
T2: 0'44.134
T3: 1'16.083

Might not get any new splits from me, I've had to move back to uni now and I don't have a TV. I'll try and get some sort of card into my PC so I can display S-video and do it that way, but then I might not. I'll do my best to get my time for this week off my memory card, but after that, I might not be around much any more...

I'll be back during my holidays for sure, though :D

howdy, had a few internet problems of recent but its back on track, and heres the splits of a s ubmitted time, i used the DFP (for leaderboard purposes)

16.832
43.102
1'13.143

Wow havn't played GT4 for a long while and i'm falling behind div 2 drivers. Then again i was always hopeless at rally.

Anyway here are some spits after about 15 laps.

17.531
44.839
1'18.198

First clean splits to report, with a lot of room to improve -

19.308
47.691
1:24.081

New splits -

I have been as good as 1:17.9XX, but these are my best splits from a clean lap -

17.986
45.546
1:19.752

This might be the lap I submit, unless I can get lucky and avoid the walls while pushing all out. :dopey:

Had a good spell on this yesterday and nailed a good lap for me..
17.376
44.228
1:16.709
Haven't seen any better splits so that will probably be my submission
I've enjoyed this race very much, and am surprised by how much time I could gain - then again, I haven't done this course lots of times, so it's still finding better racing lines. Looking at the Leaderboard - it appears I still need to find better lines for T2-T3 cos I'm losing seconds there to D1 guys, while T1,T2 are quite similar so far. I shall be examining the replays I think.
Thanks for the combo
