I have the 4 day American Thanksgiving Weekend ahead to try and take my second division 3 rally gold.

Will not get to run until Wednesday next week, as I am still out East. But I can already say, nice combo, Erik! Looking forward to rallying all weekend!

Kevin

Looks good Sjaak 👍

Thanks guys, I hope some more wrs'rs are up for some dirt too.

i'm not :yuck:
never mind, liked the democratic theme a lot and hope it'll return often.

i guess my wrs week is restricted to luxy and refrain from foul language :)

Its been a while since I've torn up some dirt, my first 15min session at 250 yeilded:

T1 - :28.073
T2 - :49.393
T3 - 1:10.075

EDIT - 45min in:
T1 - :27.578
T2 - :49.006 (saw a 48.8 but decided to just let it pass me by :P 48.5 is really pushing it, I doubt I'll get there CMir)
T3 - 1:09.677

Jerome

squeezed in a few minutes here, but that's prob all I can do this week... have fun! :)

28.558 / 52.775 / 1'14.613

edit:
28.476 / 51.947 / 1'13.578

I'll play in the dirt! This is my favorite dirt track, although I am not as good at reverse as I am normal. Nice choice!

My favorite dirt track too. But only because it's the only track wide enough to stay off the walls. :ouch:

First 10 laps:

27.640
49.819
1'11.486

Nice combo, Erik. 👍 Very pleasant to drive. Good thing you didn't take her all the way up to +20.

Rather busy ATM, but this is great relaxation, so I plan to run it some more during the week. :D

Sorry I know I said no more WRS for me :embarrassed: .. but I couldn't resist running a few on this one! as rally is a weakness for me and anything associated with the Alps and an aracde car 👍

... so far I'm at about 45 mins in and my best save has 26.961 / 48.120
I will get some more laps in later tonight :)

Cripes Ron ur flying man, nice work 'mr. I'm retired' lol

Jerome

May as well get a DivIII time in there. Ran about 20 laps.
30.001
54.968
1'16.414

Don't know how much time I have this week as the family begins arriving for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I'm not real good in the dirt but, Erik this one is fun!!

This or something close to it was in the BC6 that I ran 👍

Jerome

Ok just had another good 90 minutes on this and beat my save a few times with up and down splits ... so still some up for grabs! I am gonna submit now and save myself the torture of chasing tenths of a second over the remaining week :)
here's my final splits .. 27.224 / 48.211 / 1'08.822 ( my best splits of the night were 26.893 / 48.012 .. so I lost .3 straight away at T1 but the end section was decent enough 👍 )

Good luck to all in the results
Cheers for a cool rally event Sjaakie
Time Submitted.

Man, lots of time to find on this one. My test laps where around 1'13.xxx at t3 so it has taken me a while to get it down to this:

27.966
49.976
1'10.809

well not only did we have a city course, now we have a rally! I have just never really connected with New York or Seoul. I like George V, Opera Paris, and especially the really tight city courses. Thankfully this is an old, but good rally course. This is after about two days of 25 laps a piece. Since it's a holiday week I'll get in some good hard work on my days off. I really didn't want to work on WRS 134, but this one will be a benefit I feel.

29.225
51.820
1.12.971

the new board EDIT updated up to post 20 21

have fun this week y'all. i hope the steward will look at the sugg box for next week ... oh no, that is gonna be a uk lan event race - but which one? :) any hints, sjaak?

luxy format for this week:
lap t1="29999" t2="49999" t3="69999"

to the critics: dirt & snow is displayed as dirt + snow because the &-sign makes luxy puke :dopey:

congrats again to erik for winning the lottery....how much $ did u win ?
only had a quick session, about 20 laps, its fun to rip around on dirt like that
don't know if i can keep up w/ the rest of you this week,
not that i have in the past, but i'm having a good time trying

lap t1="29960" t2="53513" t3="75308"

i'm using the dfp

So much time left out on the track, but I cant seem to get it...after about 2 hrs this is all I could muster... 28.121, 50.705, 1'11.985

Quick try at this, maybe 20 minutes.. Lots of different lines to take, sometimes it works out great, others feel just as quick but you find yourself a second behind your ghost..

T1: 27.770
T2: 50.274
T3: 1'11.853

Didn't race last week because I just didn't have the time, especially for working with 2 cars...

I had a quick question via pm regarding what braking points I use on this combo! so I thought I'd paste the quick lap description I gave here also incase it helps anyone 👍 Its only a quick scribble to be honest but hopefully people can work out what parts I'm on about ..

I brake hard and roll around turn 1 in 3rd and then brake slightly and roll around turn 2 in 2nd, power all the way around the turns and up the hill past T1 and drop from 5th gear to 4th to take the tight left turn against the wall with no brake ... then a slight brake to take the small section before the bridge in 2nd ... then gear up twice to 4th to cross the bridge ... after the bridge its drop from 4th to 3rd to negotiate the right hander with a tiny touch of brake to then flick the car quickly for the left hander .. carry on along gearing up to 5th and as you take the downhill section and as T3 shows drop quickly to 3rd and turn in tight towards the wall at the left hand side and hope it keeps a nice wide exit line for the final section gearing up to 6th and along the long finish section to cross the line

Good luck guys and keep diggin in hard as rally just needs a bit of balls in the turns and it pays off with heaps off the total :)

Hey bigracer FYI- in your leaderboard you show mtbiker157 in Div. 3, he is in Div 2 (unless he got demoted)

Thanks for the run down Ron 👍 I'm guessing you used 250 top speed?

I ran a few more last night and got down to 1'10.4x t3, I've gotten 1'09.9x once but tanked the end :( I'll try and get a good one in soon and posts new splits.

 to all who dig in the dirt.

i have a question about this weeks race in the alps
in the race specifics it states to stay away from walls, etc
in the standard rules it states 2 wheels on ( or vertically in line with ) the track at all times,
i noticed some grassy areas where i may travel into along the way and all 4 tires would be off track
my question is this.... would the above scenario be considered dirty or are the race specifics overriding the 2 tire rule for this week ?...thanks
and to the rest of the lottery entries, they all looked challenging and/or fun 👍
except 25 laps @ The Ring, i don't know if I could run 24.5 laps clean just to
screw up @ the end, i would need a new wheel after that 👎
thanks to bigracer for the board format, helps me & other newbies i think 👍
to all the board leaders.... am i in the wrong car ??? WOW
lap t1="28589" t2="51141" t3="72811"

Just stay off the walls, visible or invisible, everything else is considered track.
