Quick Guide To Replay Checking:

1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are Sports-Soft and that the power is 285 hp
2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle.

Minolta, that's a mad time, I know I left quite a lot there but that would only be enough to get me a low 7'40. 👍

Many times at the luxy leaderboard don't appear at the final results And it was so close at division 2

Congrats to Bart and Kenny on the great laps. I was hitting 5 seconds below my sub last night but could not manage a clean one. Glad to know I still would have been in the silver and 3rd at best.

The ring has quite the following, and after working on this one for a while, I'm starting to see why! I guess I will be better prepared when we come back in 6 months!

I had a 8'22.xxx anyway, that wouldn't have been a revolution on the scoreboard.

0.031 short of a win... ...............🤬!

The worst part is that I deleted a 7'48.526 run because it had one too close to call drift along the ragged edge of a curb, & I figured 0.071 wasn't worth the risk. Especially with 2078TM talking about potential 6'09 T9s.
Also had a few slightly better T9s, only to stink it up in one of the last three turns.

My first D2 podium though, so I'm still happy. NTSC replay attached.

Congrats to all who managed a clean lap at the green hell, for that is an accomplishment in itself! 👍

Here's my replay. I'm a bit more nervous about it than usual, 'cause I know it gets hairy in 2 places. But I checked both passes twice, and in my humble opinion, they're clean, so I decided to be adventurous and subit it. So I'll be anxiously awaiting an official ruling

michael pointed out to me that the combo was perfect because the golf is relatively slow and ideal to get to know nurbie better if needed.
i needed that badly but i lacked the time to dive into it
next time such a combo will present itself i want to compensate for this.
tip to the steward: m3 csl @ nurbie in gt mode?

I reviewed my time and i wasnt that far off the pace in div 3, but hell, im happy i even finished, that car doesnt agree with me, it feels too sluggish and even with all aids off, i still couldnt throw it in as much as i would have liked...

I dont see a point in submitting when there is someone 3 seconds faster than me already on a luxy board.

I had a very low 7'42, and had another 3 laps at it yesterday morning before work, i was just getting into the time slaying groove when i had to go, and when i got back, the time subs were up. Moral of the story: if you want to be at the top in GT4 WRS, youve got to do more than 8 laps of the track.

If you're just having trouble with the MaxDrive memory stick, a regular USB memory stick will work with the MaxDrive disc. If you're having trouble with the MaxDrive disc, they're pretty good about sending new ones for free.

Started playing again on Sunday, wasn't satisfied with what I had been doing, then got distracted and stopped playing/lost interest or something. Didn't bother to submit anything... Fastest clean was a 7'46.2xx if I remember correctly. I've just not been feeling very motivated lately. :-\

Well, here's to the new year! I don't see myself putting in much more time than I already am, but who knows. I'll pop my head in here and there.

Definitely some smoking times up there, well done to ALL of you who submitted. Feel free to hold your heads up high, because you deserve to! 👍 👍

Kyle i know just how you feel, iv been finding it hard to motivate myself too. Most iv done on any WRS for weeks is 10 or so laps. Im hoping 2008 will be better for me and roll on march haha

I wasn't trying to deceive - it's just that there's a reason I'm D2 and not D1. My submitted run had the worst finish of any run I saved - had I not screwed it up the lap should have been around a 7:47.9xx. Not to mention the three laps that I ran just before this save where I was between 1.3 and 1.8 seconds ahead of my ghost at T7 or T8 only to make some stupid mistake and go off (well it was 3 AM) and blow what should have been high 6:08 T9's .

Congrats to all that participated at the ring. That was something. I bet I wouldn't like that in something fast, though the Honda 2000 that you guys ran last time looks like fun. I think I'll keep running the ring now that its fresh in my mind.

I wasn't insinuating that you were. Even if you had said you were, it wouldn't have bothered me. Mind games are part of racing as far as I'm concerned.

Just kicking myself for being conservative & throwing away a run that might have got me a win. Prolly won't get another sniff at one until we get back to the ring again. Still glad to have been a part of such a close battle though.

Interesting. I downloaded 2078TM's replay. Uncrushed it without a problem. Remove AR Max disc. Insert GT4 disc. Everything fine. I go to Replay Theater and the menu says I have eight replays, but all times are blank with the cursor on the top file. If I scroll down just one file, the titles re-appear for the other seven. [I keep two fastest replays per race, this weeks triple threat means six replays. Add one for last weeks race, which was a surprisingly silver time at my beloved ring]. Let me know.
