Quick Guide To Replay Checking:

1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are Racing – Mediums and that the power is 713 hp
2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle.

First of all, congratulations to hsh, Cmir, BigHead, EDK, and 01GTP for their gold times! And to everyone who managed a clean lap this week.

Second, what a frustrating combo! There was so much margin for error that I found it hard to run any two laps within .5 of each other. At least I was (just) quick enough to stay in front of you fast D2 guys - blazing time there, BigHead! Keep it up and you'll be right here with me in D1 trying to keep up with the aliens...

Third, on to week 150! Much more enjoyable, for me anyway. 👍 But at least this week's race was something different.

Cheers Great lap hsh, I don't think I could reach that even without my stupid mistake. I knew my last sector was very good, as I never ran again within 0.2 of it.

Yes, it was a frustrating race, but very exciting and addicting, we had to give it our best and risk everywhere. 👍

Congratulations to all the winners this week. The alien times as usual were stunning but those Div III guys won out this week, so congratulations on the hard work and we'll have to try harder this week.

Overall given how much I don't like this track I can't complain too loud as I got a few decent laps in but with some very obvious mistakes (I knew I should never have stopped for groceries on that hot lap!).

Nice running by those Div II guys again this week. Great to see such good/close competition across the board. 👍👍

EDK aka Kevin, quite a nice time for a great Div III win. I'm just lucky to be sharing the podium once again with you and Kenny. I seriously doubt I could have gotten out of the 17's this week, though heaven knows I gave it a real go.

So off we go to El Cap, not a track I'm very good at but, we'll give it another real go this week. Onward!!

to Hekke. I can't even begin to imagine how I would find another 4 seconds on top of the 5 I picked up after my first save on Tuesday night. But I suppose that's why they call you guys aliens. Can't wait to see your video if you have time to post one!

Finally, a special congrats to Kenny - We were right on about the same time when you went down with your injury. It would have been interesting to see how close we might have been at the line if you had been able to keep running. Either way, a great run and congrats on the gold. 👍

Thanks Ron, for the kind comments. This track seems to be good to me. I do like the city courses, so it appears I pick up an advantage against you guys on these weeks.

My NTSC replay is attached. I am close but clean in 2 spots. The first is the entry into the left just before T2. There is even a little tire smoke as I come around, but it's just wheel spin without TCS and was present on most of my replays, even without being close to that wall. I put it in the data logger and there is no spike at all at 100 MPH (Speed as I came around the corner). I froze it and looked at it from the front and back and there is daylight visible between the wall and tire from both ends.

The other spot is not as close but I thought I would mention for good measure. The left hander exiting the chicane after T2 and before the hairpin. Again, no spike on the logger and clean when freezing it.

On a week like this with so many wall bumps and such a wide car, there were bound to be some tight spots. Just glad I managed to come through with one that is quick and clean. Hope you guys agree.

Congratulations to all that competed last week, especially all golden runs and podium finishers. All divisional winners were way out front of the rest, awesome driving guys. EDK, I didn't think you would be a second ahead of my time, that aggressive driving really paid off for you. I will watch some replays this morning. Here is my replay.

Checked EDK's replay and it is super clean! Not even close to any walls from what I saw. Way smoother on the throttle in third gear as well. You should see the smoke coming off of my tires once I hit about 14000rpm. The possible wall touch you were talking about looked clean to me. The car didn't rotate at all. The data logger also showed no spike. I think the tire smoke was just a combo of high rpms and high speed, unweighting that inside rear tire.

01gtp is also clean. Very smooth through the corner right before the tunnel straight. I think you definitely could have cleaned one up a bit and given EDK a little more of a run for his money. I understand it was a crazy combo though. I only ran it for two sessions and was definitely on a DF this week.

Bighead's is close. He has two possible touches exiting corner no.1 as well as exiting the casino corner complex. I'm not the best at analyzing the data logger business but as far as photo mode goes he looks clean. In all possible touch situations I have found an angle at which there is space between him and the physical wall. The only one in question would be the last possible touch. It is very close. When I switched to photo mode I have angle 64 showing space between the wall and the tires.

I'll see what 01gtp says but I would say from his t1 split that it is clean. He would have scrubbed just enough speed in any of the possible touches to put him above an 18.999 t1.

I am sorry to say that BigHead's replay has the correct specs, but is not clean. I posted some fair photo's of the contact. The contact is after the casino corner on the straight to T1. The last photo is what I hoped to find, but actually took a while to snap that photo. Sorry BigHead, but this is not easy for me to disqualify anybody here at the WRS.

As for EDK, his lap is clean and green. Nice win Kevin. 👍

On BigHead's lap, I have to agree with Kenny on the wall touch at the Casino corner. I viewed the replay last night and sent BigHead a PM so he could have a look before I posted to the thread.

If you load the lap in the data logger, the speed drops from 100.9 to 99.8 and then again to 99.1 MPH. This is at 58.6mi on the data logger. While he did shift at this point, the car was at full throttle and normal shifting causes gradual drops in speed on 1-2 tenths of a MPH. He lost 7 10ths twice in a very short distance.

As Kenny said, I hate to be the one to DQ anyone for their efforts. This was a tough combo and clean laps were hard to come by. Just a bad break on this one, I think.

Well even though I didn't have a gold I will post my replay. I know if I would have just put more time in (when not trying to play while intoxicated like on saturday night) I would have dialed it lower but I thought I was safe on luxy. Bighead's lap was a way different style than mine and much faster because of it. Anywas here is the much slower replay. Cheers to everyone who really pushed this one to the limit!

Great lap, yet again! Compared to me, you had a higher top speed which allowed you to worry less about throttle control, though I think I reached higher speeds on the bigger straights. 👍

Tough luck, BigHead! You were so much faster than any of your fellow Division 2 members. Just look at the analyzer really carefully next time! 👍
At least I now have a slightly bigger margin over you all... not the best way to get it, though. Nice times, everyone.

Wow Hekke, that is a beautiful lap. I too ran a lap like that, unfortunate it was only in my mind. I find myself able to hit my marks a bit more each week, who knows , in a year I may run most tracks with precise movements. A little second guessing is still one of my downfalls. Thanks for the video.

Thanks Michael, I've just checked your lap and Hekke's. Both are legal 👍 I think you lost some time using 4th gear where a throttle-controled 3rd was better: before the tunnel, at th chicane, at the right-left after T2 and at the following corner. As for hsh's lap, I have nothing to point at.

Well Carlos iv checked yours and i give it the 👍 up, you started to loose it at the end but held it together. For me i can't stand wheel spin so i lobbed it in 4th and it made it more enjoyable. Cost me time i guess but hey it was not my thing.
