It's true, I've been known to have my moments on dirt. Isn't that right, Ron? :sly:
In my session just now, I actually had gotten a T2 of 55.8 (with a t1 somewhere in the 16 second range) and stuffed it on the jump right after. I was really pissed about that one.

Half an hour of playing still didn't bring up anything near as good, I dunno how I pulled off something like that.

Anyway, new splits.

T1: 16.372
T2: 56.613

The only thing I don't like is that even though I try to take the same line, and do the same thing every lap, I've had 2 laps where I've been WAY ahead of my ghost and hit the wall somewhere, and I can't recreate that lap again because I don't know what I'd done differently.
 
Dirt... besides the license tests i've never driven on it before, I think. How does it work? :P Somehow managed to get these splits:

T1: 16.481
T2: 58.933

Anyone has some tips on how too take that super chicane?

You did mix up the digits from my T2 though.

It's only 57.424 and not 57.242. Just thought I would mention it, even though I like your version better. :sly:
 
Ran some laps on this and was way off Jerry at first .. but after sticking with it and a good hour later its coming together :) .. my best save so far has 16.024 / 55.315

I've seen 15.820 as my best at T1 so there's room to improve by T2 and hopefully push a 54 out with some luck and better speed in the turns! Great combo Jerry and nice splits old man :sly:👍




edit: a few more laps and my best save has 15.782 / 55.162 :)

Looks good, but what about the 2 wheels on the track rule, if my memory serves me correctly theres a jump?

Regarding the combo, I like the -20% power. Gives me a better possibility to find the racing lines on a rally track :D

@Risei: don't worry about the jump, the rule is to have two wheels above the track. Only watch out for the walls! Also welcome to the WRS :sly:

I have no freaking idea how I randomly pulled a 55.8xx that one time before stuffing it into the wall.

EDIT: I also have no idea where you guys are finding mid 15's in the first sector. It's ONE FRIGGEN CORNER and a straight!

There's a small diff in Ron's vs. my attitude against WRS combos in that Ron does ALL combo's in order to enjoy & improve while I prefer to (sort of) pick & enjoy, if I may. I respect his attitude and hope he does mine. BTW there's no tone Hugo, just a plain comment on his post.
 
ran a couple of hours last night with this addictive little combo, switched top speeds more than i lapped, eventually settled with 220 as the weapon of choice, but 210 gives similar results.

well, i'll try some more as i didnt get the last part right:tup:

Essentially, use 3rd gear for the first left, change to 4th at 99ishkm/h as u go over the little rise before the big jump, switch to 5th gear there. right-left in 3rd, switch to 4th as u take the right kink, hairpin in 2nd, right hairpin in 3rd due to exit speed priorities, sweeping left in 3rd, last corner stay in 5th.

seen 2 low .5xx T1 splits, but they're hard to come by!

Well its been a while since I have spewed dirt out of my mouth, the first half of wait-what track is this again? hahaha, been SOOOO long since I've been here 👍 First 18min literally before the future Mrs came home late from work, here is what I have so far

T1 - :15.372 (seen a 15.1 once too :))
T2 - :55.567 (can easily see another .5 in the middle of the track, main the LOOOONG sweeping left)

Wicked T2 from Dan! I have matched your T1 a few times but barely managed a 54.9 last night with a touch so close to the finish line it was sickening to bin it 👎

Jerome is that T1 for real or is it a typo? damn fast matey? way to go anyway and looks like it will be a successful week even though Rally is not the flavour of the month :cheers:

I think this falls under the category of necessary but not sufficient. I could follow this to the letter and not get under 1:00 at T2. Something about sprinklers and grass being wet :D
 
Ran a few laps last night. At the beginning I was starting to think that all the times in luxy were typos; for the first half hour I could do no better than 17.4 / 1:02.xxx. And then I started to figure out some lines.

One corner I just can't get comfortable with is the left hairpin after the bridge after T1 . If I try to hang the tail out it spins out and otherwise it just plows the front end :confused: . I must be losing anywhere from 0.75 to a full second there.

Another good looking combo, my first hour got me these splits:
15.709 (.691)
55.161
Top speed 220 and using the gears like Holl. I lost a bit after T1 and another bit at the last sector, so another 0.3 will make me fairly happy. 54.5 is, however, out of my reach, a high 54 will be very good for me.

Edit: I just noticed I'm running VERY close to Mr P!

Well Jerome mate until you provide us with proper t's I cannot do other than put you at the bottom of the list ITMT. Hope this triggers you to come up with something decent very quickly :lol: If it's unbearable you can change it back yourself as you know your way around in Luxy.
