i doubt i coulda improved much, but i did leave .250 or so in the 1st sector

Yup it was a great battle! 👍 One that I will remember for quite a while.

If you look at my splits, they don't seem that great, 15.7, 34.8, and the high 1'01.6 in the third. I had beat all those splits by as much as .2 like you said hOt, but couldn't beat my time.
But Monday night I found a hot line through the turn after T3 and went from 1'20.603 to .50 and finally a .45.......so you and Dan made me earn it! 👍

Did you check mine as well? It's MAX Drive NTSC too! It's clean as far as I could tell from 3 or 4 viewings, and there didn't appear to be any questionable sections. 👍
Let me know if I've broken the rules in any other way though and I'll happily withdraw it.
I'd appreciate it if you could, although it looks like it's had 2 views so I'm not sure if someone else is on the case. I'm new to the GT4 WRS setup, so I'm not sure who Cyril has checking the NTSC stuff for him, though I know he can't do it himself.

Sorry if my very British avatar had you thinking I was a PAL runner, I'm a Limey, but I'm a US resident, so I run NTSC.

Hi Steve,

You can change the format of all common PS2 file transfer devices with this little tool:

Works just fine from my experience.

I just updated the results, to :

• add Steve57 to div 3 results ;
• move Casio from div1 to div2, which grants him a div victory ;
• add BuzzOrHowl to the Unofficial results ;
• color green the checked replays.

I've downloaded all replays, I'll check all PAL tonight.


BTW, I'm in the process of switching from a dial-up connection to a broadband connection, and I don't have a telephone line anymore right now.
It'll probably last a few days, so I won't be on-line several times a day as I used to do, since I need to drive to the office or to my parents' place.
I hope it'll be solved soon.

@Smallhorses- Sorry. I did assume you were PAL even tho your post clearly said you are NTSC. BTW, any driver can take a look at any replay they desire and post a report here........and I did have a look at yours. It's clean. Nice lap. 👍


I also took a look at GT3Mich's. I think there are a couple of problems with the lap tho.
It appears there is an off at the entrance to the first chicane. There also appears to be an off inside the first tunnel. Here are a couple of pics. Gt3Mich, please take another look at your replay. Are you seeing this also? They are damn close, and I don't want to say they are off without someone else taking a look.

I think the tunnel one is still on the track, but the other one is a most definite off... :-\

I think that brown stuff inside the tunnel was no go too. If so, both his front wheel are on it, and only one wheel is on the black stuff. Hold on....On another look, is that white line? If so, I guess that's ok.

Not that it matters because the first one is a 4 wheel off. So close GT3Mich, you had a killer time too!

This, plus the fact that Casio has no replay device makes Smallhorses our new official div 2 winner.

Sorry about that. I was all ready to buy one, but this really nice car came up and I'll actually be a few grand short, it looks like I'll have to get a loan from the folks , so I really need to save all the dough I have.

I don't have the time to waste on this anymore. Just a difference of opinion where it comes to what is the track and what isn't. No hard fellings.

Ohh...He'd be the one taking lessons from me . I do actually have a few spare memory cards, so I could ship one to someone around here, but do I trust Australia Post this close to christmas with one of my most valued possessions? I just don't know !

That way Aussie Post has nothing to be blamed for! Melbourne isn't that huge a city, surely? Or you could meet up for a XXXX (Aussie Beer, I'm not being rude! ) somewhere and pass your card on there, then do the same thing a couple of days later to get it back!

Oh well, assuming you're parents are internet savvy, you could always drop some massive hints at what you'd like for Xmas, and leave the URL lying around in their browser! We're trying to get you your 1st place back here! 👍

I've also just returned MinorShunt's favour and verfied that his lap is 100% clean, and breathtakingly quick, so you can give him a Green Star now! Top Job!
You carry a lot more speed into the turn between the tunnel than I did, so I'm guessing that's where most of my second at the finish line was lost.
