Well done to everybody, Pleased with my silver in D2 this week, had about 1.5 hrs with each car and just some basic tuning using Sports suspension only so overall I think not a bad result.

checked shigspeed replays last night... very similar to my situation, but clean also:tup: green flag.

i did notice you ran with a taller gear... just don´t know if it was a choice or if you just didn´t had time to tweak with the settings...

@ quati, you can purchase a simple pen drive and give me your home adress by PM, i can make a copy of the max drive disc... i think its the only solution, since you can´t buy a max drive here in brazil:tdown:

You could always just get a sharkport on ebay... I got mine for cheap, and you can convert the files to .max easily.

Ok i just checked Casio's, NeilsG's and Randymcchickenf's replays and all are squeeky clean.

@ Randy - did you know your Silvia was 18hp down on power when you did your lap. It says 282hp on the replay and everyone elses says 300hp. Guess your oil must've turned dirty without you noticing. It makes your time all the more impressive. 👍

It gave some troubles as both Zdenko and Sjaak had a "Gran Turismo Replay No 2", and so did I. Had to clear my one memory card and then upload the new replays over two times.



ROB. Thanks for the checking. And yes I did like your cars. Actually it was a nice surprise and a bonus to the replay checker, that there was cool coloured cars involved.

This week I probably ran the fewest hours total, and with two cars on two tracks non-exclusive, I'm happy to have finished where I did! Yeah, didn't tweak TOO much on the gearing and I couldn't be bothered with shifting too much...

As for copying the Max disk and using a standard USB drive, wonder if that works? Have you tried? I think there's something hard coded in the USB drive that prevents copying, but I wonder if you have a chipped PS2... :^)

I just checked a few replays. I'm having the same problem with one of CoolGeekz replays as I did with Thirdeye's last week. Either the download to the MaxDrive is messing up or the transfer to the Memcard is messing up. It's an empty space in my files.

But none the less, the replays:

What I was able to view with CoolGeekz was the Silvia. That must be a taste of your drifting. Very nicely done and clean. 👍

Jake73 couldn't be any cleaner. 👍 It's like he's afraid to go near the edge of the tarmac. I noticed that you used a higher gearing. About a 9 or 10??

oldphart was clean and dirty. Laps were clean 👍 (close with the Silvia) but the cars were filthy. You gotta keep your rides clean man. Did I make you nervous by saying dirty?

Thirdeye, you need to convert to .max for me to view unless somebody else has a sharkport.

Yes, I checked out his Lotus replay and it was SUPERSUPERSUPER close. I'd have to give him the benefit of the doubt though. It was a gorgeous lap with amazing drifts throughout. It still amazes me that you can drive "stilts" style with the two sticks and hustle the car so well.

Here's a pic of his closest to off (which is actually closer to off than my closest - at precisely the same part of the track -, which I didn't think was possible).



If you draw a line vertically down from the edge of the tire, it _JUST_ intersects the curb. Gnat's ass sort of thing. Don't try this at home kids! :^)

I haven't watched his Silvia lap though so someone else will need to verify that as it got messed up somehow and didn't load on my card.

no i didnt, could of done with those extra horses to beat SHigspeed, oh well. Maybe week 50...

Watched the replays from ferrari_chris and the Elise replay is not the right one.It was a run with a BMW on Cote,
the Silvia is a nice run with a big green flag at the finish.👍

you have to have at least two wheels on the track/curbs at all times. in this run, i almost had a third wheel off, that´s why it took a lot of time to analize. you got to play by the rules, but make the most use of the track:tup: when i send you the CD with the max drive you´ll be able to see that in most fast laps we have only two wheels on the track in chicanes like that:tup:
