GT4 WRS Week 53 Results

That's it, we used the only wet track in the game. Pretty crap when you think that GT3 had 2 wet tracks. We'll have to come back there this summer : as someone wrote in his submission PM, it will look like an english summer.
Congrats to all racers for the very close racing, congrats to the usual division winners, and congrats to Laurence5905 for his 4th div 3 victory in a row, which leads him to div 2. 👍

Had some fun with this one, took me ages to get my braking points down and my lines anywhere close to the apex.

Well done everybody for keeping it on the track, spent most of my time off of it, hence the rubbish time.

At least next week I can only improve. 👍

Wow! 4th win in a row, and a promotion! I really didn't expect to be promoted so soon... I'll have to practice extra hard for this week's race to get a podium on my first week as a Div. 2 racer! Now I have to compete directly against all you awesome Div. 2 racers!! Not gonna be easy, I'm sure... (At least I'm not in Div. 1 where I'd have to compete against Holl01 -- that would be an impossibility!)

I've gone through it dozens of times and couldn't prove it was bad. But it's REALLY close -- at that right-turn just before the Dunlop tire-sign. You'll see it... With all the pictures I took, the closest I came to going off the rumble-strip is about an inch -- the left-front tire is always at least one inch on the rumble-strip... So someone with the ability to upload photos please review my replay -- if you're going to say it's bad, I want photgraphic evidence, of course.

And to everyone -- great race this week!! Less than 2 seconds separating first from last in every division!! That's truly amazing! Fantastic competition!!

Now on to week 54... I'll race a bit tonight and see what I can do with it...

I really wanted to have another crack but my thumbs still hurt from all the qualifying I did for BC, I really liked this race cause it was only 5 corners and you could concentrate on how to take each corner perfect. I was happy with my lap, would have REALLY loved another 0.255 though Here's my replay

well i actually have my suzuka done at about 1'54 but i dont have time to do the grand valley one (and i hate normal tires)....and then week 51 came up and i decide to focus on that instead of the qualifying...

i guess my reluctance to keep it going has dragged my down..now i wont have enough time to do the qualifying.....

Well I updated the spreadsheet and took out some of the invalid entries and it's not that bad any more, it's like 20 seconds, and that's only cause I slapped you during the Nurb weeks...I'll send it to ya later....gotta go the Gym now and get my a$$ kicked by my trainer...I'm scared

Truth be told I'm one of those who look at the WRS thread most weeks and give each combo a go, but sometimes get too frustrated and give up

In future I will post my times every week I do the race, even if that means being last in Div 1 you're all just too good, the standard of laptimes in GTP WRS is phenomenal

Tried this one for about a half an hour with no tcs and got I *think* a 1:06.9xx, was hoping to try it again with tcs but o well, great combo cyril wish I had more time for it tho.

heres my replay (not sure if this is the one though...the save icon in maxdrive is soooo dark....and it doesnt show any info about the replay)

I always go to the PS2's Browser and look at the dates on the replays. I know when I saved the replay I want to upload to GTP, so I just find the one based on the date and time, then memorize the name (GhostReplay[4] for example). Then it's just a simple matter of loading the MaxDrive software and transferring the replay with that name to the MaxDrive.

Of course, if you transfer more than one replay at a time, you'll never know which one is which when you get it on your PC, because the PC names make no sense...
