:dopey: Whatcha talking about? I'm confused...

It was on the limit. I had it sliding everywhere, sand was flying, smoke was trailing. I had a .3 T2. Then the corkscrew came and ruined everything.

Ohhh, on your submitted lap I take it? I was hoping that you'd stay away from the combo after you had your low 1'11 and leave it be. Then, when I woke up(today I think it was? or before I went to sleep? dunno), I checked your time again and you had just pipped me. *sigh* Oh well! That's why you're in D1. 👍

great lap dan, smokin time as usual, and nice race Colby, near enough to a podium as you can get mate...

my replay...

inferno: clean lap. Came pretty close near T3, but it checks out. 👍

Here's my PAL replay.

Gets close in the kink after T2, but I checked and it looks clean to me. :)

Green flags added up to this post.
I'll take a look at PAL replays myself tonight, and it'll be a good opportunity to take a look too at the previous weeks that I have neglected too much.

Casio
Re-Re-Replay.

Crazy lap up to the corkscrew. Has to be seen to be believed, I can't believe it stayed on the track.

checked ur lap mate, clean and aggresive:sly: u made a mess of the corkscrew which ultimately cost u a decent time though.

Damn i only did 10 lpas on monday and 20 laps on Tuesday with a new controller (DFEX) and still got that position. Maybe I should put in more time. Anyway heres a replay.

Edit:
O crap i have double fingered just like in week 46. My time is 1'11.951 Not 1'11.051. Think its yime to buy a keyboard with really big buttons.

Shweet, silver time, me is happy :) Would have been cool to nail the first three quarters of my lap though... could have been up there with the low 10's. I'll try to have my replay up by tonight.

Awesome final sector and lap Dan 👍
Congrats to all podium finishers 👍

Lawrence, CLEAN! You had that one part that was pretty damn close, believe me when I say I know how that works...

Yep -- I went over that part very closely before submitting, and didn't see anything that would definitely make it dirty. It was close though... Not as close as I was in week 53, I think, but definitely on the edge.

Anywho, Green flag from me.

Thanks for checking it out. I'll grab your replay here in just a few and let you know sometime later today.

Only words of advice are, brake sooner, get on the gas earlier, and try to keep sliding to a minimum, 👍. Which is what I'm trying to learn as well... :)

Great advice! Now if I could just DO that. :) I know I tend to brake too late, generally -- but if I concentrate on that, then I start braking too early, and turn in too early... Get my rhythm all messed up and can't complete anything cleanly... It's a fundamental problem, not a trivial one, and it's definitely going to take a LOT of work to correct it. But that's what the WRS is for, right? ;)

in this weeks race, note when the little red braking indicator (the one that flashes the gear you should be in for each corner) starts flashing when you are approaching a corner. try and remember when it will come on and brake right when it starts flashing. most weeks this technique doesnt work, but i have found this week that is is very close to when you should brake... it should help you find a few more tenths this week... ;)

Yesterday while awaiting the results, I was wondering how everyone was doing in each individual sector. Although this data is available through calculation in the leaderboard, I wanted to see the individual times of each sector. So this morning I spent a little time getting the results from the leaderboard (unofficial times) and official final times, and crunched up some numbers. The "perfect" lap, according to best sector times, could have been a 1'09.697

If this kind of data is of interest to the racers, I may consider trying to do something similar to the leaderboard, but using individual sector times, and not cumulative ones. It might get me to stop being lazy and learn some new stuff.

P.S. Kyle, you must love that corkscrew! Nice sector 3 indeed 👍

Oh ****! Nice there Fabio, that's awesome! I like looking at that stuff... :) Scott did that a few times recently, with all the sector times setup like that.

I like that kind of info also, but it took me a while to figure things out... doing this for the first time. I copied the whole leaderboard into Word and made it re-create the table. Then transferred it to Excel. Then put in each individual time from the result thread. I then tried to make Excel understand the 0'00.000 format, but in vain. So I had to manually fix the times to be put in simple number format so that Excel would be able to calculate them. When it was all neat, had to figure out how to put it all in one post without it being huge. Found out by trial and error what the 'CODE' tags do. Put it into effect but there were weird gaps between names and times after copy/pasting the tables in from Excel. Manually fixed the gaps, and here we are! If someone knows a quicker way of doing this, drop me a PM :)

And... who's Scott?
I may have been here for a long time, but I don't know that many people by name.

A few green flags to report:

Inferno and Z., y'all already know your replays are clean, but I checked them just to see what y'all did -- totally clean, both of them. Z. -- AWESOME run there! Really smooth, and would've been an awesome ghost to be chasing this week!

KLR142 -- your replay is clean as well! Not quite as good a time as Z. (which you already knew), but still very impressive! Clean with no doubts or close calls whatsoever.

So all 3 of you -- totally clean, and you all get the
gflag.gif
from me!

EDIT: Oh, and T13R -- cool job with the individual sector times! I like that!

Well due to my damn timekeeping:guilty: mine's an unofficial laptime but i'm still gonna post it cause i raced my heart out *sob*

Nice stats T13R... glad to see i could mix it up with div1 guys @ T1.

here my PAL lap...

And thanks for checking my lap Laurence!

Here's where you went off zdenko, it was just before T1:

So there you go, all PAL sorted (except mine) 👍

haha, stupid idea, go home looser

you are becoming more of an over zealous idiot week, chump... spitting the dummy coz you lose 2 races in a row, calling me "looser" for trying to help a driver out in improving his times!

and don't say you were j/k, you have made a habit of making snide comments to others who have opinions that differ to yours...

haha, well i was joking, and na, i dont really care too much that i lost 2 wrs's in the past few weeks, i am beatable and i have been beaten many times before, i'm used to loosing and winning.

Post #1 is updated with the necessary flags, and I moved Dr_Watson to div 1.
So....

Congrats Kyle for your division win, and ls2_297, do you have a replay device since you now have a gold time ?

I had a look at MisterWeary's lap which is a definite

Thanks for checking all the PAL laps too

Flat-out

So does that mean I get the win from wk54 Cyril?
Seeing as he is Div1 and has been for ages.
