GT4 WRS Week 61: "Seoul '02 Soul"

T1 - 29.498
T2 - 46.396
T4 - 23.1??
T5 - 39.8??

BAH! this car's a bit annoying with all that power, lack 'o weight, and nothing else.... we just arent getting along right now

Once I work out Lap 2 and Start - T1 of Lap 1 I'll be set.

Lap 1
T1 - 29.510
T2 - 46.180

Lap 2
T1 - 22.995
T2 - 38.880

Another news worthy piece of info. Last week (Week 60) was my half century of WRS submissions. (I think I own the record, at GT4 WRS at least). Anyway, here is to the next 50

congrats to your fifty :dunce:. did you do all from 10 on, or did you start from the beginning but just missed a few?

Cas, like me started on week 7 ;) I have missed some here and there, I am at week 39 so 50 is a lil' ways away. Congrats Cas'!

Wow, nice going Casio. 👍

Edit: Just checked, this week 9 for me, GT5 should be with us by the time we get to my 50th. :)

Sorry, I had 52 when I "retired". You'll soon surpass me though, until JGTC is over at least!

Congrats on the milestone!

I started at week 9. The only raced I've missed in almost 13 months was week 38. I'm still angry about it. I forgot to submit then woke up 4 minutes late. I would have got a division win too!

Nasty little car! :ouch:

Lap 1
T1 29.646
T2 46.574

Lap 2
T1 23.560
T2 40.587

Was hoping to get it down a bit further but it seems my (lack of) driving ability won't let me.

Oh well, back to TT again, might have a bit more luck on there. :)

Darren.

OMG, is that Scott I see here? HHmm...so it must have been another Scott in California that has been missing for many many weeks....lol :) Hope the JGTC is treating you well man, the BC is keeping me busy enough...almost :sly:

29.631
46.293

23.044
39.754

Can see a bit left in it for me, but not sure if I'll have another go...

Thought I'd better put a better showing in since I made the race :sly:

T1: 0`29.649
T2: 0`46.126

T1: 0`23.262
T2: 0`40.146

Probably a little bit left for me but this is likely my submission 👍

retried and came up with t's a little less shamefull than previous.
31.219 - 49.951 - 24.956 - 43.823
if tried hard i could find some time, especially around the first t2.

It's obvious where I'm losing time in this combo, T1-T2!

Must find the brave pills, and take the S-bends faster!

I will try, but in a lot of pain with my knee's this week.:(

The key I've found is to brake right over the top of a pedestrian crossing after T1 and brake hard enough to come in fairly tight on the first right-hander (a touch of drift here is helpful) and if you come in tight enough you can power all the way through the next left which gains a fair chunk of time 👍

getting along again.
T1 - 29.3
T2 - 45.9
T4 - 22.7
T5 - 39.4
I've seen such ghastly times as:
T1 - 29.200
T2 - 45.750
T4 - 22.646
T5 - 39.350
all together I could get .5, maybe, but I'll very likely submit what I got.

why do I have this horrible feeling MADFORCE will beat me?:scared:

EDIT: Time submitted, I got my best first lap, and my best 2nd lap, in one race, and you just can't ask for more than that.

I've got Youth Camp this upcoming week, mon.- fri., so this is my final (however horrible they may be...)

'30.351
'47.592

'23.917
'41.238

Time submitted

Well, it's not easy to get a clean lap with the AI set to +10 -- I've come darn close to winning me a 115-point race a couple of times though, although none of them have yet been 100% clean so they're not submittable...

But with the AI set to -10 it's much easier to go clean:
Lap 1:
T1: 30.715
T2: 48.549

Lap 2:
T1: 23.331
T2: 40.574

SS tires, no aids, AI at -10 on SM tires.

EDIT:
Just did another 1/2 hour or so...
Lap 1:
T1: 30.445
T2: 47.669

Lap 2:
T1: 23.202
T2: 39.908

I think I can shave off another 0.5 second or so... I'd really like to break the 29-second barrier on Lap1/T1

i suck at city tracks
i suck at city tracks
i suck at city tracks
i suck at city tracks
i suck at city tracks
i suck at city tracks
i suck at city tracks
so no more tries for me. the differences are shameful. submitting to colby just now.
please weary steward, come up with something better tomorrow :)

Well, although my Lap 2 splits are a touch slower this time around, I shaved a total of 1.1 seconds off my end-time, so I'm posting these splits... And submitting my time -- doubtful I'll have any more time to work on this combo before the deadline...

Lap 1:
T1: 29.861
T2: 47.110
Lap 2:
T1: 23.283
T2: 40.315

I'll field any questions during those weeks to do with the race but submissions will still go to Cyril (Flat-out).

;)

Ime Tin!

Oh yeah. Splits.

T1 - 29.269
T2 - 45.816

T1 - 22.805
T2 - 39.488

I'm submitting now too :sly: To all those who've submitted to me I've forwarded your times onto Cyril but all those still to submit, please pass them on to Cyril 👍

Grrrr... I'll see you at the finish line:irked:

I know! I can't wait. It's going to be really, really close!

By the way, it's my birthday tomorrow. So hopefully 8am treats me well...
