Ramon, you here? Still haven't given up racing, do you? Stunning victory
eclipseeCongrats to everyone 👍 , here's my replay:
KLR142Sure thing! I can't really say it was a certain part of the track, but more the driving, which is what we're all here to improve. I used to drive exactly like you when I first started, more prone to braking late into the turns and doing a little positioning(sliding, ) of the car mid-turn. It's the main thing that makes the fastest the fastest, just trying to get most of your slowing down before the turn, trying not to slide much(if at all) in the middle of the turn to maintain speed, and get on the gas early. You want to maintain speed through the turn and get on the gas smoothly and early to have a higher exit speed. Basically the basics, but much easier said than done.
Try to get your braking done a little sooner, and try not to slide as much. A good bit of your sliding was scrubbing off speed. If you could slow down just a bit sooner, get back on the gas lightly, or in some cases full throttle, depending on where on the track and such, and you'll carry more speed through and out of the turn.
That advice goes out to everyone, including myself... 👍 Oh, and of course, try to use as MUCH of the track as possible. Not only getting close on the inside of turns, but starting all the way from the outside and working your way smoothly out to the outside again on the exit. On some turns it's not always best to start from the outside, or exit on the outside due to turns that follow or come before, but when you're exiting onto a straight, swing as wide as you can as smoothly as you can to maximize your exit speed.
Take a look at some of the D1/2 replays and you should see it in action.
KLR142Barcelona's replay is from week 60's race actually... And it's clean. You might want to post your lap from week 62's race though, because it is required being a gold and all.
STLbarcelona5Yeah. I'm just going to throw all of my replays from the past few weeks races onto the Maxdrive and forget about sorting/renaming everything. It'll be there, and who doesn't like watching a 787B anyway . . .
I don't know what I'm doing here either , after my "pompous" farewell one year ago here I am again (I thought really I wouldn't race again until GT5) damn GT drug ... , but I'll take it easy, I just will race from time to time.Hugo BossRamon, you here? Still haven't given up racing, do you? Stunning victory

MisterWearySo that leaves one DQ and very little time for EG6_GUY to find the correct replay.
InsaneRacerceleron_266: Clean on SM tires
Your doubtful max file was the correct file, though.
STLbarcelona5: Looks to be a max file of Grand Valley in a Mitsubishi Evo IV Rally Car 97
EG6_GUY: Clean
AngelCreator:Clean

MisterWearyI just checked Casio's (awesome lap man, really really awesome 👍 )
EG6_GUYI'm not sure what the problem was with my replay, MisterWeary. I submitted it in a timely manner and it was checked out and found to be clean. Please let me know what is not correct.
CasioIf I recall I had a pretty insane T1 time, just lost a bit at the end. I'm still unhappy I didn't get a 44....
I'd say that warrants further checking then if you ask me... The kerb is allowed, and I do agree that it can sometimes knock off some speed, but usually it's a tad progressive and the speed change isn't all that large, but it IS noticeable. Photomode can be very very very hard to pinpoint, and it's quite easy to over look things sometimes, even if you can't get it to show contact in more than 10 minutes of looking.SuperTI checked it myself before submitting (obviously) and took a look in photomode as it was a bit close to the wall. I saw a gap between the wall and the car and assumed it was clean, not realising the collision detection for that part of the rail starts at the kerb and not at the armco barrier hence the visible gap in photomode.

MisterWeary.....as an experiment I drove into the wall to see what it looks like in photo mode and the car remained an inch or two away from the wall at all points during contact.
Green flag for cleanliness and matching actual time... 👍STLbarcelona5Well it's about damn time. Good thing I rechecked my PMs just to make sure that I could still submit it today. Same time as my other one as well.
