I'll try and get my replays up tomorrow, been far too busy for the PS2 this week. I still havn't done any running for week 70 WRS, the TT WRS or the DTM yet this week.

My MAX Drive disk has started playing silly buggers recently too. Sometimes just wiping off the surface and making sure it's sat in the 3.5" disk recess correctly seems to make it work fine.

I was going to suggest that you e-mail your replays to me and I'll put them onto my MAX Drive, 💡 but of course you can't e-mail them unless you can get them onto your MAX Drive in the first place! It's going to be one of those mornings!

Join the club, im quite sure its the PS2 messing up not the disk though. Perseverance is the key though, if only the PS2 didnt stop attempting to load after about 20 seconds. You could leave it on after night, and in the morning, voila.

Well, I have a newer slim one, so I'm inclined to think that it's not the PS2... The smaller discs are hard to read, and mine is definitely a bit scratched up, so in my case, it's the disk, but yeah. Maybe if I take it in to get it resurfaced or something? What're your guy's thoughts on that?

In any case, I got off work early, and am currently at my parent's house... I'll be over to my place in a couple hours and get my replays up! 👍

AHHH! Computers are NOT my friends today!!!

I just had a post written up and I guess I hit a combination of buttons that made my browser do something and then end up going back a page, and then when I hit forward, I come back to an empty reply... I've been having issues lately!

Anyway, what I SAID was along the lines of:

So, I got home and turned on the PS2, and it immediately loaded up the Maxdrive, no hesitation what so ever! Then I go and copy the second and third to last replays, because my two laps were the second and third replays on my memory card according to GT4... I also copied them to my other memory card so I could check and see if they're the right ones. Loaded GT4, and NOPE! Neither one's a lap I wanted. So, I deleted the extra replays to reduce the possibility of getting the wrong one, and studied the pictures... Then went to load up Maxdrive again... First try? NO! Second try? NO! Third try? NO!!!! I finally got it, either on the fourth or fifth try. So here they are. Just thought you'd like to know. Not. Sorry.

Ok guys here are my replays. I don't know which is replay is which but i know thy're the right ones. I can't do week 70 because I messed up my arm bad . Hopefuly i will be good to go for week 71.

May I ask which combo you liked better? The GNX was a whole second faster so I'm assuming you liked that one better and spent more time on it? Just noticing that because my times were pretty close throughout. And, a small tip, which you may already know, so sorry if you do, but, you'll be even faster if you get all your braking done at once. The Buick lap had a good bit of tapping the brakes here and there before a few of the corners, but the Merc. lap looked pretty good from that standpoint. 👍

PS. The maxdrive started first time again. The PS2's been off for two days and it was the first thing I turned it on with. 👍!

I did like the GNX better but i spent the most time on the Merc about 25/75. About the braking I already know and the 20 other thing i need to fix but i know if I keep raceing in the WRS I will get it fixed. StrokerAce my friend/neighbor tells me all the time what I do wrong but thank you for the advice. If there is anything you think I could do better jest let me know.

PS I dont really have a preference to what I'am called
