Please post your replay before the week-end so that everything can be checked before the next race ends.

Quick guide to replay checking :

1. check the race summary, check that the car power is 300hp and the tyres are RM/RM.
2. look a first time at the replay from the farthest top view (R1 R1 as soon as the race starts, X if you need to switch to the outside cam)
3. look a second time at the replay from the same view but reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect a third wheel off track, freeze the replay (Select button) to enter photomode.
5. if you suspect a contact with wall or AI, check the data logger for any weird pike (speed drop) under full throttle

What the? Have others gone crazy, or are finishes my best parts of every track? I've got the worst splits, and passed two on the finish... Happened on Week 66 too. And I think 68... Madness.
Another Silver in the trunk. I wanted a bronze for a little variety. Next week I'm going for gold.

Congrats to all division winners. InsaneRacer could've had a top Div2 silver with his time...

EDIT: I 'poor'ed it. Didn't like the track, nor the car, but together, they somehow made it ok.

Hey Guys I went dislexick in my PM to flat-out. My time is not 1'50.286 but actually 1'52.086. Please congratulate sjaak68 for winning the top time in DIV 2. Sorry for the mix up and congratulations to everyone who raced.

DARCwizard just PMed me to say there is a typo in his submitted time, which is 1'52.086 and not 1'50.286.
I updated the results and the winner in div2 is now Sjaak .

There is an unwritten rule about typoed times, which says that :
A) they are accepted and the results are corrected under the following conditions :

1. the typo only concerns one digit ;
   or
2. the typo consists in inverted digits ;

B) a replay is requested, whatever the new ranking is after the results have been corrected.
DARCwizard's time matches condition #2, so I request a replay or else the time will be DQ'ed.

Wow. Held my breath for 1'50 of that lap? Much better result than I would've expected 24 hours ago.

Seems my last minute panicky session paid off? An hour and a half ago I would have been last apart from a 1'52 lap which was doubtful anyway.

Can you change my vote from Great to Fabulous Cyril? I see the divide in the divisions almost held up.

Can't believe I finally got a gold! Sure took a long time anyway.
The reason I havn't been participating in the WRS for awhile is because I was too busy trying to better my racing skills. (Not that WRS doesn't, of course)

I don't have a MAX Replay or similar so I'll try and record it on a camera.

You have to get a Max Drive. There are no ifs or buts about it.

The problem is, while you may say your time is genuine, and while we may believe you, we can't have gray areas and exceptions to the rules.

If we count yours as 'Yeah, sure, you can have green flag', then the next person who comes along with a doubtful will get that treatment too, and so on until will get rid of replays and go to the honour system.

Not that the honour system is a bad thing, but sometimes mistakes happen and cheats arise, so it's good to have a back-up. There have been plently of times where a regular and trusted WRS'er has submitted a replay that is so slightly dirty that they havn't realised it and get DQ'd.

Anyway, off my tangent. It's easier to have everyone providing a replay and no-one saying 'I think he's a cheat', then not providing a replay and having that hanging over your head.

The system ensures that no cheater can get a gold time. It is harsh, I agree, and there is a certain amount of false positives (ie, disqualified legal times), but it's the price we accept to pay so as to race in a suspiscion-free atmoshpere.

Nevertheless, rules are rules and I won't try to argue against them though I do need to ask you a question.

I once attempted to purchase a PAL MAX Drive from Play-Asia.com and sure enough, after payments and instructions, it turned up at the postal office. What I didn't expect to find though was recieving items I didn't even purchase. Ie. Recieving two PS2 light-guns instead of a PAL MAX Drive.

So my question to you is; what is perhaps the most reliable online website that stock a PAL MAX Drive that can get it here safe and sound in Melbourne. Because I'm not going to send another 45 dollars over just to recieve incorrect orders.

I got my PAL max drive from www.play.com, and you dont have to pay p&p. Maybe thats uk only though, dont know about aus.
