Yeah I wish I was that smooth using the DFP, but I just got one today.
That lap was done with a DS2 controller, but one day I will be able to
drive that good with my DFP(hopefully soon).

i have to agree, it was very careless, that is a definite reminder to check replays before submitting times

I don't know if Ren-tec is PAL or NTSC : I'll download it tonight to try and check it, can someone NTSC download those 2 new replays too and check them ?

I can't even come close to the PS2 when Sister is watching a movie... Otherwise, I run into the risk of getting back my GT4 disk, in two different pieces.

i've not run 70 cos of the good ol' holly's, but i can comment on telly and remote use tho. the gt4 setup is in the living room that i share with my wife and 11 year old daughter.
1- which means i work on gt4 only when the house is empty save some scarce sessions.
2- which does not really matter since otherwise i'd be glued to the screen all day :-)
3- and for which it's a good thing i work odd hours (restaurant kitchen) so situation 1 happens quite often

I believe I read somewhere that with 2 wheels on the grass on a straight you can gain more speed.

Bit of both. Some cars can get a speed advantage of a mph or so, nothing huge. I think it's mainly cars who have peaky engines with not much power down low, the wheel spin on one side enables helps the other side speed up, depending on LSD settings.

But for this I used it to get a slight drift into the first corner. A couple of times I did a full-on drift up I could never do it consistantly. Turning from off the grass enabled me to take more speed through the first corner without having to brake to early and understeer off the next.
