Here is the long expected team event. Even if you didn't run the Qualification Round you can enter the race as an individual. You'll need to run both races in that case.
To make it simple (which doesn't mean you don't have to read what follows, the road car runs on the smallest version of the track, the race car on the longest version, so that laptimes are not to different.
Teams will be posted in the Qualification Round thread.

Oh yeah, nice one 👍. I'll be running this one for sure...

Let's just get the team and race...

EDIT: Ben, ya Maniac! It didn't even contain anything!

Looks like great fun and for once it will be a chance to use the pretty red NSX race car.
Good luck to all of you... The NSX R street car should be pretty easy but the NSX R LM will be a heck of a race. 👍

Until I've found the time to run some laps...

Yeah, the Sports Course one will be a toughie. I didn't do well in my WRS Qualifier (nor in the team-event qualifier, but it ruins my point), which was Infineon Sports too, so I guess I'll have to make it up this time.

Sorry, but that looks backward. Race 1 is using the slower car?

Slower car on shorter course and faster car on longer course, so that each team mate has a similar weight in the team aggregate lap time.

I think you've got it the wrong way round Cyril. The stock car course is the shorter course but you have got the race car using that. And the road car using the sports (long) course.

i'm in too with my dear friend ben.
cyril - please change the tyre choice for the road car back to sports PLEASE !!! normals is what we did for the qually already!
we're picking choices in the team now, and going for it tomorrow.
cyril's outperformed himself on this one, mates!

About to jump on this, I love NSX's but from what I have seen, I might have a handful.

Steven is off testing the two cars to see who'll be driving what :D. I don't mind driving whatever, to be honest, this is gonna be one hell of a good week.

Mind reading seems to be still working well. How the hell do you now that race 1 was planned on 'sports' tyre and I changed it to 'normals' only 5 minutes before posting the race

I can't stand Normals, so it pretty much settles who drives what car then, in my team. If it were Sports, even Mediums, I'd run it.

Ooooh spooky....glad you changed it Cyril, the qually ignited my love for normal tyres, so keep them coming :P

Because it was showing originally after it was first posted. I'm sure I saw it? Perhaps I'm seeing things...

well let's get into that one.
a. WE are twin brothers so whatever you think, i know
b. YOU know deep inside that using sports tyres are the better choice
c. I sure know they are
and
d. my dear team mate ben saw that your original post said 'sports' not 'normal'

so PLEASE rethink and be nice to us poor old div3 drivers.

Why is everyone making a fuss over normal tires. They seriously accentuate the simulation part of GT4. IMO it takes a little more skill driving with them. I say keep them.

Let the sports to your team mate and race on the racing tyres :mischievous:

Edit :
Sorry, that's another typo : "let the normals to your team mate....
:embarrassed:

Wow, after Suzuka I didn't think it could get much better. But to then come back to Infineon after my vacation AND THEN use an NSX makes it even better. And now that I've just found out that I'll have a PS2 in college, this day keeps getting better and better....

it this typo week or something? hope our angel has no more surprises for us coming up, unless it's a surprise like 'oh sorry, i did mean sports tyres after all'.
about the race. i agreed with ben that i could pick a race out of 72 and he would do the other one. now if cyril so stubbornly sticks to N-tyres for the normal nsx i will pick the race car, tho i like the shorter track and the slower car of the other one more. plus the fact that honda replaced normal brakes with handbrakes for the race car is a bit challenging, especially in the first righthander.
so to ben - good luck driving the normal tyre car around.
and to cyril - please let us know if we are allowed ALL tarmac areas at infineon; there's quite a lot of it outside the rumbles and in other races those were forbidden. and - can we touch the pylons or whatever you call them, those plastic pointees standing at the side of some corners and off-track lines.
just to prevent disappointments for the week.

Ooooo Normal tyres....

Looks like I'll only have that avatar for a week Colby :sly:

question for cyril - how are you planning to calculate results and points from this week for the hall of fame?
