I dunno if i'll be slashing a lot off of my T1 time but there's A hell of a lot of room for improvement for the rest.

Thanks for sharing your times,
Matt

You sure about that T6: 2'28.837? Not trying to say you're a liar but, at T5 I was ahead of your T by more than a full second. Then at T6 I'm behind by 19seconds? Hmm

Oops I'm sorry your right.

The real T6 time is 2'48.837.
Thanks for noticing that.

No worries :) Just had me scared and going through my replay like "Am I really losing THAT much time here??"

Finally finished work for the week - now for 4 days of rest, relaxation, and some friendly competition...

... actually, it will be more like 2 days of beer and pizza, 24 hours straight of DVDs, brief periods of extreme frustration that I can't get a clean lap for WRS, and the rest will be a hungover blur.

:( :(

t1 - 0'29.292
t2 - 1'00.795
t3 - 1'26.308
t4 - 1'47.816
t5 - 2'14.982
t6 - 2'43.098

really dissapointed that i wasted the lap by not cuttin the final section enough...
CFM, do you really want people to be flying through the final chicane at full speed?
its a pretty bad section you can cut at almost full speed.... :indiff: shietty

I agree...you shouldn't be allowed to race! Every time I need an ego check I come check out your split times. Absolutely disgusting. :scared:

Hey guys and gals!

Turned the feedback back up, gives you better feel in the corners.

Getting T's of over 1 1/2 secs under gold time, and working my way round the track and learning each section at speed.
Just means that i'm scrapping a lot of laps nearer and nearer to the finish line, AND that the first T's i post will at least be a gold time.

LOVE the dfp on this track now that i've turned feedback back up, hated it on last week's combo.

In-fact my fastest and sumitted time last week was with the ds2!

Laters, Neil

The first thing i did tonite was to watch the licence run-through in display-mode and jotted down the T times.

Comparing my split's to those split's i can judge my pace better and identify my mistakes/slow corner's quicker, and because it's a test with a retry option you can get straight back to racing while the mistake is still in your mind.

Nice idea, I like it!

Missed last week's race and I still don't have my PS2 + DFP!! :grumpy: But I know I'll be hearing quite a bit of "Ohhhhh Yeahhhh" while pushing the limits, which, is very limited... :dunce:

Finally got something half decent, MUCH more improvement to be had!

T1 - 30.045
T2 - 1'02.965
T3 - 1'29.210
T4 - 1'51.420
T5 - 2'19.432
T6 - 2'48.616

"AYE"

Though it was and is a **** run, and it was also done on previous gt.de rules.

Just a clarification of the rules. If the game doesn't fail you, then you are not off track this week. Only touching a wall or finding some kind of major shortcut are not allowed. Next time we race here there will be more rules to follow, however. Those pics that KLR posted are good examples of what will not be allowed next time.👍

I´ve got few laps now, my first 1 hour playing. From T4 ahead i was perfect, nothing to improve, maybe a little bit on last corner, but until T2 i lost 1 whole second. =/

Btw i´ve got a good time. See more seconds left tho. :D

T1 - 29.288

T2 - 1"00.930 - until here, i could gain 1 second, as i´ve hited sometimes 59´s

T3 - 1"26.614

T4 - 1"48.139

T5 - 2"15.179

T6 - 2"42.819

Will run more later and i think i can down more 2 seconds. Lets see. :D

ANother unique aspect of this WRS round is that you will not be able to "salvage the rest of the lap" (as practice) if you run off. You will be forced to start back at the begining. NOT COOL.
Well, you can train using GT Mode.

Let B-Spec handle "Sarthe Circuit 24 Hours II" in Endurance, which gives you the "BENTLEY Speed 8 Race Car '03". Then go to Wolrd Circuits, disable ASM and do as many laps on free run as you like. Feels the same as the license test car. I'm doing the same thing here to get a feel of the track before trying to lay down a fast lap... and that License Test mode was driving me insane before, hehe.

What car should I give old B-spec Barbie so I can go to bed tonight and have this thing done by the morning?

Translation: I don't feel like making any decisions this week, everyone will just badger me.

Analysis: Exactly what I would have done :dopey: ...the new rules are much too forgiving, and I wouldn't want to deal with all the hub-bub ofver this subject, so let the game be the judge. I myself was wondering a few weeks ago if we were going to do any races with License Tests, since the guidelines are quite simple: If you pass, it's clean. :dunce:

Took off 1/2 a second. Woulda been more but I completely almost fell off the track at the last corner and had to nearly come to a stop :yuck: :scared:

T1 - 29.680
T2 - 1'02.235
T3 - 1'28.888
T4 - 1'50.850
T5 - 2'18.281
T6 - 2'47.913

This should help you make a choice :)

Lord have mercy, I don't think I have any of those except for the Mercedes "CLK-GTR". Bum.

I wondered if the Audi can be bought? Hmmm ... sounds to me like I'm about to embark on a chase across the game to get a car capable of winning the 24hr :P

Yep, you can buy the Audi R8.

The downer on this is: only available decal colors are red and yellow, no MNP. ;)

Well finally made it to post 115 on this Wend morning in Japan. Sheesh ya'll are ever so busy on results days. 👍

This will be very helpful, as I am down to my last 4 S Tests on my GT game. So that answers the question if I have golded it yet, cause A) have not run this one yet, and B) if ya look at my sig, htere are 0 golds listed. Maybe I will get the chance to add one to it this week, if not will try for a silver, and all else fails chalk up another bronze :P

Ok, guys and gals, here is my first nite's line in the sand!

And it's a GOLDEN line, told ya!

T1 30.393
T2 1,03.004
T3 1,28.854
T4 1,51.036
T5 2,19.698
T6 2,48.706 👎

And then, got suprised by the final chicane and nearly screwed it up for the 6th time, but managed to save it (and lost up to 1 sec on possible final time)

There goes the S15 golden duck, flying off into the distance!!!!

Only to be shot down in flames by one of the bionic guy's!

Deus Ex Machina, people!

Well unfortunately you need 25% to compete in the endurance hall, and I only have 22.2% ... so using this as a training tool is out of the question.

It also dawned on me that if you hadn't competed in any ... or many ... of the license tests, then it would be theoretically impossible to test in the super international, right? You do, after all, have to do them in order.

I sure wouldn't like to be the poor guy who can't race, because he can't access the S-license tests. That would suck.

There is a PAL 'Uber' save in the replay thread which give 94.5% complete with over 825 cars available, and 8.6 gazillion credits.(wrongly reported as only having low credits)

and there are lots of other's for ntsc people as well.

Neil
