Congrats Hugo, soon we take one nice cold beer and send the bill to the WRS.

Thanks to the div.2 racers for some fierce competition, and congrats to Kyle and jake73 with the podiums.

Good results Metar 👍 ,Div win and the results pic.

(Kyle, I had the same feeling when checking results.
I think that is what it still makes interesting to do this kind of stuff.:D
Also the excitment,when finishing a good lap is pretty addicting}

BTW I count three people who all hope they uploaded the right replay.
I recommend to download PDQ's replaymanager.

Ow...OK...I wa...stop throwin...NOO put the PS2 down!

Whoops, Mrs SuperT getting a bit animated...She thinks I was taking the mickey posting her lap up. The fact that most of us have probably put hours into our WRS submissions compared to her 15 minutes doesn't seem to be calming her down.

Whilst clinging to my beloved PS2 I managed to check Ren-Tec's and CHARGER's replays. Both clean and correct times and settings etc. 👍

I'm going back to guard the PS2, bye. :scared:

Darren.

Super, she did better than most any of my friends that barely play GT, and I have the DFP for them to use. Just one of friends put down a better lap than her with about the same time input, but actually plays this game on a regular basis and likes the Cappucino alot too...

WRS makes up for not having any friends that are any good at GT games. That is a pretty good time Mrs. SuperT!

Congrats on your division win, Sjaak! We'll celebrate this soon in Huizen

Also another clear win for Metar, well done 👍 Keep it up and you'll be a worthy division 2 driver within a few weeks :sly:

I gave it a last try again yesterday in search for the 1'10. Didn't succeed in that, but did improve to my current time, coming from a 1'11.109  That proved to be quite useful... This is a lucky week for me, a win in the WRS and receiving a Premium account. Can't complain!

@ Kyle: great sportsmanship 👍 You didn't win but still made effort to say some nice words. You well could have won the Premium account if you didn't retreat... If you're interested, the time I managed in the beat was a 1'12.989. Too bad it was slower than the Cappuccino, it sure is more fun to drive!

Last credits go to Colby. The car(s), track, tyres and power perfectly matched! Skillful pick :)

Good luck all in this weeks race

How do I find out who is PAL and who is NTSC ? I want to download some replays to see where I lost time.

You got that right! I love the beat so much, it makes me laugh. I have a problem. :dunce: Congrats to the winners though!

I checked Sjaak's & SuperT's, both can get the

You can look at the first post. Some people have PAL or NTSC behind their time. You can also check the location or see who checked who's replay. They must be in the same region then...

And MINICOOPER, can you make a vid of you driving the Beat? That must be an entertaining video then!

congrats to hugo for the win, very hard fought victory mate:tup: wish i had more than one sesson as i to had hopes of reaching that elusive 1'10 milestone. will grab replay later in the week.

If you mean of this week, then I don't have a replay for you, but I suppose as long you're NTSC, then I could whip up a lap or two at the ring. :mischievous: If you're not NTSC we could perhaps get someone that is to record it with one of those TV recording things. The beat is a fun and very cool sounding car though, but if you want to experience the fun of it even more, take it to burgenschlut in Enthusia with full tune and locked diff.

I was trying this in the Autozam at first, but not as fast either. ALOT more fun though... ALOT. Drifts every corner though O.O

WoW! Awesome speed.....good racing guys. I thought mid 1:11's were possible...but 1:11.1's ....man that's awesome.

I could never quite figure the first sector...I got it right once and was ahead .300 at T2, but bobbled coming up the hill into the second to last turn. That would have been a 1:11.5 but, I wasn't able to match that run again.

I'll send replay tomorrow....I'll have to sort through all these numbered saves from this wacky sharkport and find the right one.

If the saves are of different types of races then Sphinx's Replay Manager will help you sort through them easily. If they're different replays of the same race then you'll just have to delete some 👍

here's my replay:

I thought for sure based on the luxy board I was going to get a 9th or 10th place finish. But 3rd??

My T2 was terrible so I guess I wasn't able to get the left hander after T1 correct. But I found lots of time on the second to last corner so I suppose that's where I drove by some other racers.
I knew I'd jump a few spots, so I wasn't expecting too much or too little. That's definitely a smoking last sector you have there though man! Seriously!!! About a tenth faster than my two fastest ones... That second to last corner I was able to go through at up to 78mph, possibly more, but my submitted lap dropped down to 76 I think... My last turn though was the best I had managed yet, going into it at 62mph drifting down to about 60mph, and eeking out every last inch on the exit.

Thanks Hugo! :) I'm definitely interested in how others managed in the other cars, thanks! It was quite the handful, and would've definitely spread out the results a bit I think... Hopping into the Cappuccino was a nice treat as well though, with how nicely balanced it was.
Checked KLR's replay - clean 👍
Thanks man! I should be able to whip out the Maxdrive in a few minutes here... See if I can beat James to checking the rest of the NTSC ones... :sly:

Too slow Kyle(is that right?):sly:,
I checked both KLR142 and jake73 replays and both are clean:tup:.
And here is mine:).

I think it's cool how close everyone was.
:P I dunno, read my sig? Haha, jk.

Yeah, I got distracted... And then just now I copied it to my mem card and started up GT4 and wondered why I didn't see it... THEN I remembered that I have to UNCRUSH the replay to the memory card. It's been a while. I'll be right back here saying that your run is...? :sly:

So last week I had gold, this week I'm dead last in Div. 2. There's consistency for you.... Although I'm not surprised, considering that my T1-T2 time was atrocious, it was something like 24.1xx and then t2 of around 44.9xx. So losing even more on the last two turns is certainly not to be... unexpected?

I'll have to load up some other peoples replays to see how I lost that much time after having a successful first sector.

After watching kyle's replay I found I did really bad in the last corner:(,
but it also doesn't help that I do bad on weeks using N tires.

Clean!!! VERY nice turn directly after T2... Faster than I'd ever managed. Lap looks great, just need to use a little bit more of the track to maintain as much speed as possible. Very good though!

Oh, and CRXnut already checked my replay... :-P

Now Jake has his checked twice as well. Clean! :dopey: Jake, it appears your full boost for the full lap was what did you in right at the T1 mark. You get on the brakes almost a bit before I would(right AT the T1 line) and you take a while to lose your speed due to always being on the gas and not always using full brake. If you had let off the gas at that area you would've been able to brake a little bit later, and taken a slightly better line through the turn as well because you'd have gotten your speed down faster. Your slightly faster speed on the entrance made it harder for you to maintain 50+mph through there and exit in a straighter line. Or at least, that's how I interpret it? Pretty damn smooth though everywhere. Held 76mph through the second to last corner, and then on the last corner, your keeping it in boost the whole time is what helped ya out with the smoking finish. You were very smooth by using the brake and gas simultaneously and it allowed you to maintain your speed through there. 👍

Kyle, I had the same feeling when checking results. I think that is what it still makes interesting to do this kind of stuff.:D Also the excitment, when finishing a good lap is pretty addicting
Oh, absolutely! :)

Thanks for checking my replay:tup:, beleave it or not but it's hard to get my replay checked.
And after watching your replay I saw that I should have used more of the track:ouch:.

No problem. It's always important to use as much of the track as possible, as long as it doesn't ruin your line for the next corner or two. This week with the slower cars just made that requirement that much more important. :)

Way to go, Mrs. SuperT. The lap reminds me of mine at the beginning of the week, with downshifts everywhere... And if only she didn't brake after T2 (in the straight) and before the roundabout, she would've beaten my time. Perhaps we should make a "family battle", wher racers let relatives race? And bring SuperT Junior along, once. D3 is empty...

Ok, I have a Max drive, how do I open a replay? I have tried un-crushing & it evem comes up when I go to browse on the PS2 main menu, it just doesn't come up in the replay theatre.

That sounds like a PAL vs NTSC problem... You have to find out what you are, if you're not in America or South Africa(I think they have NTSC), you're probably PAL and can only watch PAL replays. 👍
