GT4 WRS Week 83: Photomode Comp

WHAT IS IT?
The WRS Photomode Competition allows WRS'ers the opportunity to show their Photomode skills. You're task is to create a picture that can be used for the Week 83 results thread (much like the example above) At the end of the week all entries in this thread will be judged by myself or the previous winner (Gingiba) and a new winner will be determined.

WHAT ARE THE RESTRICTIONS
The only restrictions placed on the photo you create are:

• Photo must be 400 x 300 pixels
• Photo must relate to the Week 83 race
• Photo must contain the phrase "WRS Week 83 Results"

And that's it! Only one photo per competitor but feel free to update your entry during the week 👍

I'm not making one myself this week, so (if I may) I'll take up judging. I just don't have any ideas involving both the MINI and the Pacecar, that fit well together. I might have a bit of inspiration, though.

That's a bit pixelised Bigracer. I can't wait to see the image un-pixelised.

I'm slightly unhappy with my image. i should have centred it a bit more. I went back to centre it & then couldn't remember what transparency I used for the border & gave up

And yep, you can judge this week Metar, I think that's a fair reward fro winning the previous week 👍 Just send me your pick with at least half an hour to go before deadline.

Sweet one, COOPER. I like the title a lot, but the photo could be a bit more centered to the right, so, instead of showing: "MINI. Oh, there's a pacecar over there", it'll show the flow out of the corner, and make the pacecar less of a speck...

i have problems with the imaging here. this is what happens:

1. i pick up the picture from the usb stick
2. i load it into ms photo premium
3. i change the format to 400x300
all cool. if i upload to photobucket, no problems
4. i add the wrs text to the picture and upload again to photobucket
suddenly the picture gets to be pixelized and it's unusable.

WTF???

Sounds like this ms photo premium program you got...I dunno? You could try downloading this free photo program, it's not quite as good as Photoshop but would do the job 👍

If you've got PhotoShop then don't bother with the program I linked to, PhotoShop is the shizzle 👍

Yeah I was amazed when I got Photoshop. At that time I thought gimp was brilliant but when I got Photoshop I was so much better than any other image editing program.

maybe it's a nice idea to open up a thread for non-native speakers building up a dictionary of english words that aliens don't understand, don't know how to write or don't know how to pronounce

Only illegally & it's against the AUP to talk of illegal activity here.

Photoshop Elements is good cheap alternative. Basic most important functions are all there.

Temporarily, until you can find an alternative this free photo program isn't too bad. It will do the job for this comp at least 👍

Or a program called paint.net, I use it and it works well. And it's free.

Hehe, I like what you did with the oposite gradient for the text then the picture behind it, I often do that too. On hy entry you can see the text goes dark>light, while the box behind it goes light>dark, it's a sweet entry I must say, maybe a border would make it pop a bit more, and maybe more contrast.

I will take a look, but I think i'm doing good as I have not used this program much before this.
