GT4 WRS Week 83: "Thousandths at Tsukuba"

Aw, shucks...And I've just gone and smashed my old time too? I've got nothing to do for the rest of the night now...Unless? *Oi...Mrs SuperT.......* :sly:

T1 25.914
T2 49.242

Well, it is called "Thousandths at Tsukuba"? :D Time will be submitted after posting this.

BTW Colby...I guess those super sticky tyres are quicker than biking to work?

Darren.

Here are my splits from the time I ran last week. Couldn't submit at that time because GTP was down, so hope it's still in time.

T1: 25.892
T2: 48.964

Me & driving aids ain't no combination, only managed 1 faster T1 and no faster T2...

Finally had another chance to have another go.

I still havn't been able to beat my fastest t1 though but i am heaps quicker by the finish.

25.920
49.150

If I can break into the 48's for t2 YAY but i probably won't. I hate these driving aids.

And Mr Weary in the t-times you should change my controller to dfp (even though i'm using a df ex)

26.147
49.441

Faster car and some sticky tires next week please.

We should do a "rubbing is racing" 10 lap race where AI contact is allowed :sly:
I doubt that'll go too well around these parts, but if we do, we have to have the Forced Pit Entry penalty on, and make it know to everyone that it usually doesn't give you a penalty if you don't hit them with the front of your car...
brad, if you want to quote me - fine, but credits are due don't you think? :)

Yep, 9 hours and 40 minutes before the deadline at the time of your post... 👍

I'm about to have my first and last go at this... :ouch:

Haha, I definitely need it! I'm so slow! Don't think I've dropped under 49.60 yet...! :ouch:

Well, I did chop off 4 tenths in the next couple of laps after taking a look see at your walk through Colby(thanks!), but I rearended the Skyline on that one after T2 pretty hard, so we'll see what I manage in the next few laps. I don't think I'll put too much more time in this week though, want to concentrate on learning my not easy to be fast NSX for JGTC a bit more and save some time for next week's race that I know I'll enjoy more. 👍

EDIT: Uh, scratch that... Just dropped .322 off of my final with a T2 of .414 which is .15 slower than my best at that point so far... So, uhm, I think that classifies me as addicted. Don't want to spend too much time, but I do want something that's a little closer than .15 off my fastest so far. We'll see how much of that was just a lucky last turn though... 👍 :)

What the heck... Just did a 49.115 yet managed to finish .010 behind my other lap... I didn't think it was that much slower around the last turn!!! Did one other one that was .1 ahead at T2 and also finished about .010 behind... Come on, put it together, quickly... :sly:

Good luck Kyle, may that Ewok in your avatar give you some of the Force :sly:

Ewok's don't have The Force. And even if they did, you can't just give someone The Force, if you could why didn't Luke give Han The Force?

Come on Colb, you're a mod now, lift your game.

Time submitted.

Kyle - Welcome to my world. I have no idea what I did on my best lap final sector but it was about 0.2 quicker than all my other atempts.

:) Yeah... I can do it, haven't sat down since that last post, but I NEED to do something before I head off to bed(hopefully in the next hour and 15 minutes so I can get up early enough to have a go at wk 84 before work... :sly:).

And about the Ewok... I was looking through the Avatar pictures, and nothing interested me. The Ewok was almost cool though, so I picked it. If someone wants to make an avatar for me out of a picture that I supply, that'd be awesome... Anyone?

Very true... I'm not so sure I want a "corker" though. Whatever that means in US speak, lol.

At least you know you're going to probably place higher than you'd suspect according to the Splits Leaderboard... 👍

And, well, after seeing .016 drop off here, .004 drop off there, .006 drop off there, .002 drop off there, with T2s still not where anyone would like them, I finally managed something decent. Dropped .15 or so off at the line, thus surpassing my goal and with a decent T2 as well, so that colors me satisfied...

Submitting this lap:
T1: 25.962
T2: 49.180
T3: Satisfying enough. We'll see how well those upper D2ers finish off in their last sectors... 👍

EDIT: Looking at the splits board, I see I'm losing time in T1... Somewhat anyway. I've never seen a 25.8, and only got maybe 5 total times under 26 flat, with only two being below maybe 25.975 or so... Looks like I've piped Brad by T2 though, we'll see what happens at the finish! Hopefully he's not about to play some more before the deadline... Colby, keep him occupied if necessary. ;)

Corker

1. n. Something that is better than the rest.

Number 5 on that page is quite possibly the greatest thing I have ever read. Permission to post it in the thread?!

Thanks, won't forget the deadline anymore now 👍

And Colby, I forgot to mention I fixed my pedals and am running DFP again :sly:
