Quick guide to replay checking:

1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are RSS/RSS or harder and that the power is 325 hp
2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle

No doubt, I just hate being on the tail end of that battle. ;-) I could never seem to get that last left hander down.... It's alot easier taking it when you restart a lap going 30 MPH slower coming into it....

Dang-it, missed the submission deadline, well I had 1:18.9xx but was dirty exiting the last turn so I ended up on that run being te same as my prev not so good run of 1:54.7xx, easily left .4 out there...holidays always get in the way don't they?

That looks a great battle in the middle of D2, a close spread of times.

Question - do I have to submit a replay, being near the bottom of D1?

no kenny, you only have to provide a replay when you gold a race.
but you are free to do so and someone will check it for you as all provided replays are checked before a week's results are made final.

EDIT as mike said 2'00 would be a good cut-off between good and mediocre in div3 i will not bother to post a replay this week (unless someone asks for it off course).

... and here is my replay. I loaded them into analyzer and compared. You had better exit from the turn after T3 but then you lifted too much in the final corner.
I also learned I suck with DS2, check out how long it always took me to move my thumb from brake to gas.

I just tried to upload my replay onto my Maxdrive, only to keep getting the same error message over and over again. Something like "An error has occured." Now normally it acts funny, simply because the USB device itself need to be tilted up (when it's plugged in) to be recognized as being plugged in. That goes for on the PS2, my laptop or even desktop.

I'm going to try to reformat it on my PC in a little bit, and will try all over again.
