:: GT4 WRS Week 93 ::
Ignoring past combo’s that have come and gone for this week really sets the scene for some great racing. This week’s selection we will be driving the Amuse S2000 R1 ’04, but this time instead of GT-Mode it will be driven at Grand Valley East (Reverse) in Arcade Mode. This combo has been designed primarily for Additive racing that will produce extremely close race results and caters for all divisions in having a fair crack of the whip in terms of placement in the final results. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did during the testing phase. Feel free to amuse yourself. 👍

Looks good. never driven the amuse S2000 though. But plenty of expierence at grand valley. (i love the origional circuts)

[EDIT]
this weeks pic with the ghost in it is flipping sweet btw.

[EDIT2]
 WOW. Coming off the GSX this 1000 kg car feels like such a pig.

hustled it around the track a couple times and got these. just something to break out of the gates with. (yay i'm in first, till sombody else posts  )

T1: 26.042
T2: 47.760

Is it bad that i already have new splits? I should have given it a bit longer before posting times i guess. Sory Ren-Tec.

New splits:
T1: 25.303
T2: 46.307

Cut the final time down by a little over two seconds. lol

great combo, jerry, this looks promising for the races you'll be setting up.👍

Week 91 Race Specifics:
back in the days of cyril i remember having a typo comp - might you be interested in this in any way? :)

EDIT first lap - great driving *** god do i love real wide race tracks ***

25.646 - 46.219 - laptime with seconds chopped off each lap 👍

this combo is all about smooth driving and follow the perfect race line. adding tcs to the oversteery tunercar makes it smooth all round. super!

I would like to race in this but I don't know what group to start in. How do I know??
just race this race as well as the qualifier, submit and the steward will sort it all out for you. dont forget to put a real effort into the m3/infineon combo tho, as that'll determine your class for now. good luck!

Hmmm, A's, eh? So, will next week be B's? :sly:

Welcome to the head of the WRS Jerry! May you live long and prosper!

A nice combo you're starting us off on here, I hope to be able to put some decent time into it. I won't be doing JGTC this week, so I should have some time for a couple days of this.

And, James, or someone capable, can you please update the leaderboard for wk 92 before we leave that week too far behind? I'd appreciate it. 👍

Don't worry James, I'll be updating & running this week, as well. I just love that Amuse R1... Great looking combo, on a track I only ran once, in forward, for a licence test. Let's see... 3 more hours and I'll have some splits ready.

It appears that yes, I will indeed have time to put into this week's race... :sly:

24.324
44.084

Damnit, I just realized that those are the splits for my slower lap that I saved first. CRAP! And I exited out. Blargh. I had a 43.8xx that was .211 faster at the line, but didn't save the ghost as I thought I already had. WHOOPS! Oh well.

I was going to say though, it sure feels GREAT to get so close to my limit after only a half an hour. Especially after last week...

This Amuse sure does have a lot more understeer than I remember, in this configuration and after the GSX-R/4 anyway, lol. R5s YIKES.

Congrats with the new job, Jerry. Looking forward to race under your firm command. :D

First race seems nice and simple (well at least the concept), so I 'll try to get a couple of sessions in. 👍

Arcade racing with descent grip usually warrant some relaxing racing. And relaxation is what I'm looking for these days. :dopey: Keep them coming. 👍

This one is going to be killer fun. Can't wait to get back home and give it a go 👍

First session:

24.349
44.302

Very nice race, Jerry. Smooth handling and lots of grip. :D

Yeah this one is gonna be close but most all it is great fun, watch out for the understeer thou lol. Here are some splits

T1 24.083
T2 43.689

Here are my splits so far:

23.835
43.325

Those of you who have started this combo will already have realised that it doesn't take too long to get close to your limit. This is a good thing, because what we want from this combo are those elusive tenths that can be gained by adjusting our driving style to suit the car. Learning to adjust our driving style is what's needed in every combo, and this is the perfect example that will help us to turn those extra tenths into seconds on much longer courses in the future. 👍

Got the whole day free tomorrow, so plenty of time to put a few laps in. Seems like an interesting combo, i'm looking forward to running this.

This is a great combo and very addictive as expected 👍

My best splits so far ...

23.687 / 43.164 ... DS2 / NTSC :)

Will run some more on this tonight
