Which would mean that you're going to be holding the thread open longer than it's preferred by waiting until the next day. So, if you could next time post it right after it's requested, it'll speed up the process for everybody and we'd all appreciate it. 👍

i hear ya bro but if you had any idea how difficult it is to get this old rickety sharkport disk/ hardware to work, you would do two at a time as well. i'm sorry if the slight inconvenience effects anybody adversely but an hour a week for upload is a bit too much for me that's why i wait for the deadline tomorrow and send both replays. then i don't have another replay deadline for two weeks. hopefully this is satisfactory for all parties. if not, please let me know.
Well it's hours away from the deadline, and I'm screwed. I can't figure out how to put the replay saved on my memory card to get it to the max drive.

In photo mode there's an option to move a photo to the max drive, there's no such option in replay theater...I've tried using the browser...that doesn't seem to work. How in the hell do you move a replay file to the max drive?!

I sent my replay to ron last night at his email. this is the same way i sent my last replays as i was sending both last weeks and this weeks replays. i can't attach them to a pm to sphinx and i couldn't post them in the thread because i didn;t know which one was which and i didn't want to send the wrong one. ron has my replay as of extremely early this morning GMT (just after midnight my time) 👍

Sorry Max .. I dont check my emails often so I never had a clue they were there! Next time maybe a PM here or a post in the thread to say you had sent them to me would be a wise move eh?
Here's a screenshot from my email account to show the replays were sent to me this morning at 5:44am and that it was simply ill advising that caused his DQ 👍

retried buddy but still no good. it's just like it's not on the stick when i fire up the ps2 with the max disk in it, but on the pc it's sure that it is on the stick ...
btw i assumed your submission is clean so i published the leaderboard already pending the outcome, cos no wrs steward will ever submit a dirty lap now will he?

I can't see anything wrong with it and it works fine for me. Maybe if someone else tried for me?

I've just checked your replay and it appears that you have NOS fitted:
Car specifications :
Opel Corsa Comfort 1.4 '01 with the following restrictions
- No NOS!
- No wing
- Standard Road Tyres only (N3)
- all other parts are allowed
- 193HP in settings screen, 181HP in replay.

i don't have a problem with the DQ because whether or not i actually used it (which obviously i didn't) i did absentmindedly equip it when i was getting all available parts. my OLR career speaks for it's self when it comes to acting honorably and anybody who knows me knows i would NEVER cheat in any way.
think logically, if i used nos, would i have submitted a replay?? wouldn't i just have taken the DQ? if i accidentally equipped it, watching the video it will be quite obvious i never used it. this might sound idiotic but i thought it was odd to see "nos" in my head-up display. i'm actaully rather ignorant in the ways of this game and just figured it shows up whether nos is equipped or not. stupid in hindsight but at the time i thought nothing of it.
still, the rules say i could not equip it so a DQ would be in order at the steward's discretion. i just want it too be very clear to everybody who reads this that it was merely equipped and never used. i believe there is a distinct hissing sound that the use of nos creates and i guarantee it will not be heard in my replay. i didn't even know i equipped it but obviously when i was grabbing all parts i just bought it without thinking. if i had a say in the outcome of this it would be that i tried my ass off for that time and i obviously did not use the nos so it should stand but i also understand rules are rules. sorry

one request please if my DQ stands and the steward sees fit; could it be added next to my dq reason that the nos was not used? it really looks horrible and i don't need it on my record that i used nos. maybe "DQ: NOS fitted but not used"
that really looks terrible next to my name and could very easily be misinterpreted in a manner that i'm completely undeserving of.

This isnt about cheating, its about applying the rules of the WRS. Your honour is therefore intact in that regard.
However, as an experienced OLR driver I am somewhat surprised that this is the second time you have been DQd for such stupid and easily avoidable reasons, its not something I would expect from an experienced OLR driver thats for sure.
Perhaps you could tighten your belt somewhat and dig deep to make sure this doesnt happen again?

To do that I would need to check that you didn't use it. I've deleted your replay and I'm not going to check it again. Be more careful next time.

i can understand you must have a very hectic schedule and so on but can i send it to be cleared by somebody else who does not mind re-ckecking it?? we're talking about 6 hours or more of toil in that lap time and i'd hate to see it scrapped because you personally don't want to watch it again. hopefully you can see where i'm coming from there. i'm not looking for trouble here man i just think if somebody's 5 minutes can validate my 6+ hours i have to try to get it done.

It was scrapped the moment you fitted NOS to the car, it has nothing to do with me not wanting watch it again, so don't try and twist this around.

i'm not twisting anything around. your post implied that to it could be re-instated if you would look at it again to determine if had actually used the NOS. since you said you couldn't i was just hoping somebody else would. that's really all there was to it.
also, could you please remove my name completely from the official standings? it still does not state that i never actually used the NOS and you can't check the replay again to see if i actually used it or not. in it's current form, it could still easily be misconstrued that i actually used the NOS and i'd rather my name not be there at all if you can't change it. thank you.
