Hi, I open this post to be putting Anaglyph 3D photos of the game Gran Turismo 5, you need only have anaglyph glasses made of cardboard or plastic, red and cyan, without requiring a 3D television.

Soon I will add more photos, put yours! 👍

Anaglyphs make photos look horrid in my view.
Also I think your convergence is a bit too high.

Here are mine.

I see them perfectly, perhaps you're not used or glasses do not have the right color...

The main issue is the close objects have the same convergence as the objects in the background.

Normally Objects close to you have a higher convergence than objects that are far away.

Here is an example.

exps.jpg

The first circle is 1200px in size with a 20 px convergence the other circle is 150px in size with a convergence of 2.5px respectfully since it is 8x smaller.

I have yet to see any photo editing software do the depth check for foreground and background objects when it comes to this.

Yes, I know that in the foreground is most noticeable in the bottom of the image, but that also depends on how they are taken, if you want to get the image depth, or protrude from the screen... in the photos you post, I did not notice anything the 3D effect.

I only used 20px on a 1080p photo.

Since I do not have the glasses needed I am just going of memory on the depth I use to see when I played BFH in 3D.

Which program did you use to do this?

With Anaglyph Maker, but this is not an exact rule, I move the image with the program to fit more or less perfectly.

If you do not have the necessary glasses do not say it looks horrible. :grumpy:

Since last weekend I've a pair of glasses too (Red/Cyan).

Only the last pictures this thread with the yellow Ferrari and the Gallardo in the church are okay, but there are to many photo's where the anaglyphes are way to far. I've tried a lot to make steady shot, without the feeling you're eyes pop out.

This is one of my first attempts :

The best way to shoot is to make 2 pictures with a minimum of distance between the 2 camera-angles. With this post I hope this Thread will get a new impulse :)

*Sorry for the bad English.....again :guilty:
