I can no longer take Degner 1 flat out for example.

Couldn't even do that in the challenge myself, had to let go off the gas a bit. Didn't really drive my own S. Vettel on Suzuka yet, only the carbon and it was pretty much the same there, just a different gear cause of gear settings. Maybe the one in the challenge has some more downforce though, hard to tell.

Stupid question probably, but you did buy the race soft tyres for your own X2010? :P They're the ones used in the challenges as well. Going to assume you have them though.

I bought every tyre possible for the Carbon X1 :D
I duped my self one.
One to have 0 miles, and another to race, grind and B-Spec in.
I could easily take Degner 1 flat out in the challenge.
Maybe the aids?

TCS OFF
Skid Recovery Force ON
ABS 10

EDIT: Just realised that those above settings is what I used in the challenge. But in the Suzuka 1000 KM I used TCS5 and ABS 1 because I didn't need to push.

I'm only scared of the X1 and AMG challenges.

Do we have to gold the seasonal events as well? I only got the RX7 left but I didn't spend much time with it, only 3 tries.

You don't need to Gold the Seasonal Events.
I'm worried about the AMG Driving Academy.

The AMG Challenges aren't really that hard. I'm not the best driver myself and I sometimes even made it 4 seconds below the gold time (with a wheel though). Especially on the rain ones, for some reason the gold times are pretty high there and not too hard to beat. Just need to know the Nordschleife and it's easy. :P

Congrats pkdwr 👍

A question

I am level 35 A spec and have every event golded except the last two enduros (24hr races, everything elses golded). How many times do you need to do the Le mans 24hr to get to level 40 so you can do the Nurb 24hr?

I heard you have to do it 6 times to get enough points.

6 times?
LOLWUT?

Very nice! I´m pretty close too, only have to do the 24 hour endurance races but that may take I while because I don´t feel like grinding a-spec to lvl40. I will just wait for seasonals and online races so I guess the last 4 levels will take a while.

Great job - hope to achieve that trophy myself one day - currently 34 A-spec and golded all special events and licenses.

Am I the only one that notices that it's called "Hot Car Dealer" and not "Online Collector's Dealer"? Much better name in my opinion (Hot Car Dealer).

four times the Le mans 24hr circuit has 35 levels
and S.vettel challange Gold(X2) and silver(X2) EXP. [Meantime, I didn't know it Skid Option]
Has also played another endurance race many times. because This is a boring only go to Le mans 24hr .

A specification in the event of experience now 1.2 times A-spec 40 so far because I think that is a little more comfortable.
I did not receive benefits. T_T

Congrats.

I'm a DS3 user and recently found out that it is physically incapable of cornering as well as a wheel on the Suzuka challenge. So I won't be getting that trophy =(

Great to see everyone doing well, and enjoying GT5 so much. I have gold on all of my licenses and special events, except X1 challenge. Have just got to XP 30 though..Also have gold on all A-Spec, except the endurance races, although I have done the Indy 500 with gold.....All the best for everyone aiming for the coveted platinum trophy...:)..

What I have left are the 3 races in the Vettel challenge (only bronze at Monza with DS3 controller), the Grand Tour Eiger (.596 from gold), and the two 24 hour A-SPEC endurance races. I have 40/40 with the leveling and about 650 cars in my garage. So all the trophies except for the garage, Vettel, Gold standard and the platinum. I have a driving wheel but I need to get a heavier table in my living room so I don't crash onto the floor.

Just missing gold in the Vettel Challenge (already bronze with the controller), and 3 endurance races. (Suzuka 1000km, Tsukuba 9h, Nurburgring 24h)

Just waiting to get my DFGT installed in a wheelstand to complete the races more comfortably and gold Vettel challenge. :sly:
As for the rest of the trophies...done! :D :dopey:

My biggest respect for all those who have this trophy, you are truly, a professional racing driver! 👍

Im getting there but still Im way far off to get it. Using a DS3 the once I find hard is the vettel challenge (havent started on this yet but on my last account wich died I could only get to silver) and the first test going in Italy in the Special Event (Time trial in that 8C something at that odd name of a track (Eiger Norwand?)).

Does anyone of you find that GT-R '07 trophy to be hard? I've just been trying to get this one time, only had time for one lap and got over 10 sec behind the time, with not much of crashes/mistakes and Im like WTF.. Is this a hard one to get or is it more like the mercedes Nürb test in Special Events - You'll get it after a few tries?

EDIT: Havent done the 24h races in both A- and B-spec

It's only a matter of dedication. Keep practising and you'll get there. 👍

To me the AMG/Mercedes/Nurburgring full lap on the dry races were the biggest pains, but I eventually got them. The GT-R trophy did take a while, but you'll see yourself inch closer and closer to it and when I finally went under it it was by almost two seconds. You learn things that you can do on the track in a sequence of turns, not just one turn at a time. The hardest thing with Nurburgring is learning the track and staying focused the whole time.
