I know one car that MUST be on GT5. and it's RA2, aka RaceAbout2. it's one of a kind car, planned by finnish students and builded in here as well.

i just bought gt4 2 days ago and i love it. but i definately think it lacks a few cars. it has no trans-am's which is one of my all time favorite car's. and because there is no TA's there are no firehawk's. there are no monte carlo's. There is no koenigsegg cars. what the hell is up with that? it made a mark in history by beating the mclaren's top speed record but it's not in this game? there is also no bugatti made cars. i mean they only made the veyron which has a W16 engine with 4 turbochargers and over 1000 horsepower. i'm glad to see they included the buick grand national. i didn't expect to see that but it was a pleasant suprise. i also think this game should have included the Dodge M4S Interceptor. if you remember the mid 80's movie titled "the wraith" you have seen the m4s interceptor. there was only 6 of these cars made and 4 of them were destroyed in the making of this movie. so there is 2 real m4s's in existence as of now. http://www.thewraithcar.com/ here's a website made by someone who has one of the last 2 wraith car's if you are interested.

All I wish for is more attention to detail ...
time of day is a major factor, lighting also... The headlights on cars do nothing... the weather should always be variable, based on location... Actual research should be done with each and every car they include in the game... The dam Bentley LM sounds just like a tuned skyline or something... all those default engine notes should be done away with. fewer in GT4 than in GT3, but still that same (exact) racing exhaust note for 95% of the LM cars.... same transmission sound for every car you put an updated tranny on. Im glad there is backfire now...but it is a default pitch for every car with even JUST sports exhaust.... If they're going to go for realism and detail....they may as well DO it..
Apart from those minor things, GT5 needs to include more popular manufactures such as, Porsche and Ferrari for one.... Lamborghini would be nice too... Infact, the game should have less cars, but more cars people actually have interest in. I would rather them only include Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes, Audi etc, rather than ASL, TommyKaira etc cars that are only popular in Japan maybe... If they just licensed Ferrari and Porsche, the game would be much better.... Atleast they've got BMW and Ruf...

I would like to see all the JGTC cars in GT5 and bring back the GT500 and GT300 Tournaments from GT2 and have a JGTC championship.
My GT5 wishes:
1. I want to be able to transfer ALL of my licenses. I won't be buying GT5 if that's not possible, period. I've played enough GT to know the fundamentals of racing, don't waste my time, thank you.
2. I'd like the racing to be competitive, is that too much to ask of a racing game? Improve the AI and level the playing field somehow. I'm tired of entering races only to find that my car is way better than the competition's, then have to exit, get a car that makes it fair/fun and restart only to find that the AI cars just follow each other in a line anyhow. Lame.
3. Get rid of the progress bar delay B.S. when modding my car. What's the point of that?
I know this stuff has been covered elsewhere, and I have have many other minor gripes not worth mentioning, I just needed to get this stuff off my chest. GT4 has a lot to love and a lot to hate, it's by far the worst game I've ever been addicted to, lol.

oh god, no i cant take any more Japanese Touring cars, thats all you hear about in this game. Lets see some DTM and European Touring car, you know the original touring car as well as some old Can Am racers and Old LeMans cars like the 962 and such. But Please dear god stop spending so much time on the Japanese Touring Cars. Those cars are already biased enough in this game, I mean its understandable a japanese based company would surely have easier access to japanese cars but for christ sake we have had to put up with that being the focus for 4 games now can we see some variety and something more interesting than a bunch of Favored Skylines and Supras dominating?
I wouldnt love more to see some older racing. Some Historic GrandAm and Can Am cars and DTM cars old and new. they put in the Mercedes 190 touring car but didnt put in it competitor the BMW E30 M3. they did this with alot of cars like the BMW M3 GTR Racecar, they put in a Vette buts thats in GTS and the BMW was in GT so it again didnt have a competitor in this game same with the BMW 320i Touring car. Wheres the alfa and the other world touring cars.
Also where are all the Historic F1 cars? and the CTS-V i was suprised to not see that in here.
I mean I cant believe they didnt have an BMW E30 M3, E36 M3 and or M3 LTW, and the BMW 3.0 CSL Racecars and street cars. I mean who didnt want to romp a Batmobile around nurburgring.
Also tracks I was hoping to see watkins glen and Lime Rock, maybe Sebring and Road Atlanta all great older Grand Am and Can Am tracks. Im suprised they werent in here. Same with Hockenhiem, Silverstone, Donington, Brands Hatch, Spa, Imola, Sepang, Montreal, and the Hungaroring great tracks that we might have to wait a while for.
Also tuners for all makes. I mean how biased is this game only japanese tuners and they are basically worthless anyway. ok one VW tuner but who the hell wants to spend that money on an R32 thats a snail anyway? I mean I wanted to see some Schnitzer, Hartage and Dinan BMWs as well as some Factory Porsche Cup Cars. Also some Sports Racers, like radicals and such. some DSR or CSR's would be sick. and more events and races with cars that are similar. Im tired of events repeating themselves. i mean in GT4 you do 3 10 race events in LMP cars to win a car thats worth squat to you.
Also I want a shifter kart series. that would be something really fun to work towards. How much fun would it be to race around in a 250cc World Champion Shifter Cart.
Also the developers need more racers on the team. When you buy a car and start modding it the modifications would be alot more complicated than stage 3 this and that. they should be specific. Like give us a selection of cams and make our engines need to be rebuilt after a while. meaning if you run 16:1 Compression your gonna be spending alot of money to rebuild. Also no engine work would ever cost 85,000dollars. never this mechanic is a thief and should be fired. Also A selection of cams and such. This is the ultimate driving simulator then it needs to simulate the things leading up to the driving accurately. and i think being able to have major modifications to the car like selecting specific cams and such and even having a junk yard where you can go buy an engine and shoe horn that in, only some will fit and such but this would make it more interesting and maintain interest longer. Id be in heaven if i could play with settings and such like that rather than just hitting NA Tune Stage 3 for some price thats 60k more than engine work would ever be at one time. Same with turbo, why cant we adjust the psi and such. Cmon
AND WHY ARE TIRES 47,000cr!!!!!!!!!!! an expensive tire set might be 3grand for the nicest race tires around. 47,000cr costs more than most cars.....why the hell do you have to spend 150,000cr to tune a car somewhat.
They need to fire some of the nerds working for them and get some racers on that team to show them and tell them what thier missing.

basically they need to have the same ridiculous amount of models and varients for every non japanese make as they do for the japanese ones. I usually drive stockers over race prep vehicles anyways.

Some SUV's like the Merecedes Benz G55, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, high performance SUV's would be nice.

Not one of the best cars to drive, but most certainly one of the most enjoyable ones. (Besides my Mark II VW Golf GTI 16v & Peugeot 205 GTI...both awesome fast when a bit tuned...even nowadays!)
