I can't drift with a wheel in either car, can't do it in prologue either, but i can drift with a pad fantastically in the tuned (It seems far too easy to control the drift with the pad, like the game is helping you, its like the car just WONT leave the track or spin out no matter how bad you are)

I'm crap with a wheel, therefore I'm gonna sell my DFGT as im consistantly SLOWER using the wheel

I was messing around this weekend and it seems like the DSG Controller users are stuck with TC where as the Wheel users the TC is OFF. When using the controller when trying to drift, or when it slid out sideways (holding full throttle) the TC limited the throttle input (can see the grey/red throttle meter adjusting) where as with a WHEEL this does NOT happen. So even though in the OPTIONS you can't turn off the TC when using a WHEEL there is none. :)👍

it is almost impossible to drift with a 900 degree wheel in the TT!

The car snaps sideways so quickly, it is hard to catch, and even if you can catch it, the car grips against so quickly it snaps back the other way. Manage to catch that and you snap back again into an oscillating fishtail :)

hell if you let go of the wheel the car fishtails on it's own.....

you can tell something is wrong with the force feedback when you do a slalom run

------

GT4 had the same issues as well, even with a controller

This demo is great for drifting
I think its way more realistic than gt5p it was too easy.
the snap back oversteer is spot on in my opinion. It was lacking in gt5p.
Manji is not easy in stock cars.

g25 here ,no traction control in stock car
but it does say 7 ,and i cant adjust it.
If i switch to ds3 then traction is on and cant change it.

What makes you say that? If you learn to use a wheel it will give you much more control:tup:

For those who enjoy drifting, try reverse track!

Because if you actually look at the video the front wheels are turning like crazy, almost as if he was using a pad. :scared:

I think it's nice to drift in the demo, but Im not very good with the stock 350Z, but cant wait until release so I can tune up my own driftcar, that'll be awsome for sure!

reverse track?? what?
is that possible in demo??

i was decent in gt5p but in this demo i suck i have dfp but snapback and the way rear end comes out is just crazy i'll practice more but not sure if this is very realistic cuz drifting in real life seems easier not that i know how to drift in real life

Yes its possible :D Just take a 180 with handbrake and keep on driving:sly: im not a great drifter but reverse is much more drifteable
