I guess nobody told the guy in the third video what the reverse button is :P

Thanks for posting the vids.

The physics look good. Here's hoping GT5 actually gets released.

Also, bumper view is painfully boring to watch.

You know...im thankful for the people who cant drive for ****, at least we get to see some of the marvelous detail PD puts into these circuits!

Thanks, liked the third vid mainly for the interior view, as bumper cam is indeed boring.

And is there some sort of rule allowing only complete baboons to record their "driving" skills?

Not that i'm such a great driver, but if i recorded my exploits i would practice first before showing it to the rest of the world.

I think the guy in the 3rd video can't drive because handling was affected by damage. Don't you remember the reports from gamescom? Mechanical damage was on.

Well, he crashed almost full speed into the barrier on the first corner and couldn't seem to find reverse at the end.
Maybe the damage was on, but he wasn't exactly Schumi in the first place.

Still the same things like in all GT series :scared:

You can only see the time difference to the #1 car and not to the car behind and before you :scared:

The bumper car was better in GT5P? He hits the wall but there is a half meter difference to the wall...

Also the rest on the display doesn´t seem much improved since GT5P...

Don´t kill me but I enjoy the displayed infos in Forza3...

And can somebody tell me why the car descriptions are in japanese letters but the rest is in normal english? like "Time remaining"... I never had an japanese version of GT so I don´t know if this is normal?

Which shouldn't even be the case. I still don't know why PD insists on having a button dedicated to reverse.

And thanks for the vids. Sure the drivers don't drive the limits, but if I was a consumer who just stopped by a booth to play a game, I wouldn't be able to drive like a pro either.

The bumper view is not actually from the bumper, but from the driver's seat. Only the car is removed from view. This was very obvious in another video from Tokyo, where a car with bumper view took one of the barriers on its hood (last corner before the straight).

It's more practical, although I'd rather donwshift from first gear to reverse, it would be better, but reversing with triangle is not that bad at all.

About the skills of the players, I agree with someone who said here that you must practice before show your skills to the world, but you can drive in a constant and reasonably pace to get a decent video without practicing, the guys who are lucky enough to play the GT5 demos probaby are "normal" gamers, so they don't really play racing sims often, therefore they suck when playing GT.

The idle of that car sounds real good and the sounds in general - definite race car audio there 👍
Looks like handful to drive though, even with traction control on

I'm tired of gameplay videos If I'm to be perfectly honest.

Just release the f'ing thing already. :yuck:

Yea, it's like going to a supermarket and everyday you see the same snack lady handing out samples of her new snack. But that's it! It's the same snack every ****ing day and she doesn't know when she'll have it perfected. "MAYBE NEXT TIME" "In a few months it'll be ready, but in the meantime, try a sample of my new snack!"

ok, that was a bad example.
