I myself am Japanese (live in UK) so have been on the forums and it seems this guy knows what he is talking about. For one we was talking about White Knight Chronicles a long time ago and he was correct about the release date and what not.

Either way no knowing if this guy is or is not correct so this is just speculation. I posted it because he has been right before and as I said this is speculation so think what you want of it. :)

The link is from a french forum and the 'insider' was Japanese so some information might have been lost in translation. TBH I cannot be bothered to translate so sorry about that. ;)

ererything in the article seems plausable. but didnt we hear somewhere that the ferrari home track was to be in the game? its not listed.
however, as much as i can see all this being correct, i'll believe it when i see it.

It seems like the guy just took Amar's info and extrapolated the name of the tracks. Seems like a safe guess, instead of real info... what are the proofs of his credibility?

GT5 is going to be a big game, I seriously doubt he could remember everything that is going to be in the game. We have another guy (very reliable) saying the next PSP will be DD only so GT portable being the launch title for that also makes sense.

It's literally all coming together. Announce the next PSP model for later this year with GT portable being a launch title and also release GT5 for the PS3 WW for years end. :embarrassed:

*prays*

And again, we have no mention of weather or day/night cycles... only hope we have tracks at night with a incredible light system. *-*

Damage is looking to be so unlikely, it is not even remotely being hinted at by anyone. I doubt much can be done from now until December in terms of development besides polishing the huge game so yep, damage looks a no no.

Man... I'm really hoping for Red Rock Valley and Grindelwald to return, and at launch, not as DLC. Still, this is similar to other "leaked" track lists, and they would sure make me happy.

And if damage is a no-show, I wonder how the media will react?

The media were complaining 4 years ago so it's not going to be pretty when they find out about GT5 having no damage. I don't care much for reviews but GT5 prologue got 80% with the complaint being that it was just a large demo and the online being poor. I think the media might have gotten used to it and will be more than happy with the amount of detial put into this game. Good online and it is a sure bet that the media will be drooling over the game.

Either way just 1 month is left before all is revealed and I cannot wait. :D

As I said the guy checked out with other info so I see no reason for it this one to not be true. That or he made a couple of very good guesses.

- 94 circuits, not counting reverse

I think that they got licence for 94-100 circuits world wide.. I think only half will make it int, the other half will make it in via DLC.

Really good read my friend. You just made months of wait in the dark since spec III update.

By the way..

• Nürburgring
- Nordschleife

Does that include both the tracks? I was always confused with the names.

By the way, since the guy is really correct lets say.. He does not talk about DAMAGE or Day/Night cycles... Does that mean they wont be in GT5?

Kaz said damage was coming in the next update...so who knows. Seems a little silly to say something is coming when it isn't.

Dynamic weather and ability to change weather and race to day or night is more important though first....that and stopping the screen tearing and slowdown.

I want those tracks too!! I miss them :nervous:
and I want the Renault Espace F1

The info posted in that forum sounds like the same from Amar :boggled:

At the risk of being called a stupid, I will say that he didn't mentioned tuning, but there must be. So, why not the same about Day/Nighty cycles? I'm not saying damage because that would be a little over the top, as many have hinted.

Damage is a biggie, something which I seriously doubt he would not have posted was it in the game. Also have a look at Amars riddle and nothing there screams "damage". It's not happening me thinks. :(

somebody here linked to this same list on another forum (can't remember link now) a while back, IIRC it was speculation. The format of the symbols before the track name referred to whether or not that track had been in a previous GT or was new.

Maybe that guy posted up the list to show his forum, and it's somehow become a reliable source in translation?

edit: found it, and it is indeed the same list.

I think so.
The Nordschleife is the northern part of the old Nürburgring (actually its the whole Ring, without the Südkehre, wich is a pretty small part of the track). The modern Nürburgring is sometimes called Nürburgring Grand-Prix-Strecke (GP Circuit) and has nothing in common with the old Ring back in the 1920s.

Here is a picture of the old Nürburgring (gray) and the new one (black). The gray part of the Ring, that is not covered by the new GP Track is called the Nordschleife.
The 24h of the Nürburgring take place on the Nordschleife AND the new GP Track, wich replaces the Südkehre.

sorry for OT

Looks really legit.

Brands Hatch track is a massive win for me.

Now can we have the car list now?

Yeah your not going to get (please allow me to have this amount of faith in humanity) someone working so hard to make that list just to be popular on the internet for a day. I am actually shocked info for GT5 has not leaked like most other games, for other companies a 'mole' always spills the beans well in advance.

Just goes to show that PD is really tight with their info.

Can't wait for E3.

On top of the tight lid, it seems the Polyphony team is incredibly loyal and family-like. It's been very very difficult to ever get fresh info before Kaz is ready to release it. I can only assume that Amar was given something to keep us remotely content while waiting for E3. It makes sense, as the board was getting thick from complainers a couple of months ago.

Gran Turismo is literally the biggest gaming franchise which Sony own. I can see two things having occured:
1. Yamauchi is just taking his sweet time to finish the game and Sony cannot say a thing due to him creating the largest first party franchise.
2. Sony did not want this game to release until a price cut to maximise sales.

After all look at those numbers, that is seriously large amount of fans whom want a great game. I really do not know how things work in the gaming industry but I am sure "leaks" are very well known by these companies and allow them to happen for hype. I mean come on, that riddle by Amar and there are huge threads all over the internet, that is going to drum up hype!
