fastfox400Glad it made you wheel guys happier. It has completely made the controller crap. I officially am going to quit getting on now. Its just plain sucks.
I thought you drifted the wheel fox.

DriftShiroSmall countersteering I can understand is done. But the way I drift is totally different than anyones. I focus on angle, line, and smoothness. With smoothness I mean to have as less countersteering as I can get. That shows that I've learned to drift my car at the perfect point where I am able to drift any section as the palm of my hand. Countersteering, you do when you are a beginner, at that point people always tell you, the best way to drift at a low skill level is by countersteering. But as your skills improve, the use of countersteering decreases. Countersteering at pro level shows that you are not a 100% sure of the angle and speed you are getting.
PS:This is for wheels only lol. I know DS3 without countersteering is almost never dine since with the controller you have less control on your car.
PS:This is IMO
This is the firs time I've ever seen any confusion over what counter steering is. I've always understood "counter steer" to mean any kind of steering action that is in the opposite direction of the corner. To me, "counter steer" and "opposite lock" mean the same thing. Like CG said, to drift at maximum angle, you would need to use maximum counter steer.
Making adjustments to the steering wheel mid drift is not "counter steering", it is making steering corrections.
JustDrift893Looks like everytime they update the physics I find myself being able to hold more angle and reverse entry easyer.
No rift, this thread is about the 'drift mode' physics, please read what you are trying to help with before posting.
He hasn't made that very clear then has he XD
I use a wheel too.
A 'pro' drift would be full-lock countersteer every corner, holding the car at the maximum angle possible (Not reverse entries, but maintained, smooth drifts).
