I mean, it sounds like you are. Deeming them not worthy because of your personal opinions. They might not have a huge history, but they're not exactly a new brand either, nearly 40 years of history. Also, Acura have race cars they could add.
If I had a bias against Acura, then you could accuse me of "deeming them not worthy" because of "personal opinion", but I remain as objective as possible when discussing these things online, as my preference isn't always going to match everyone else's. What I have stated is an opinion on why they're unlikely to appear in the game, not an opinion of why they shouldn't be in the game.

Personally, I'd like for the luxury brands to appear in the game. A friend of mine drives an Infiniti G37X that he babies like crazy. I'd love to get one in game and just crash it in to everything, or slap a really bad livery on it, just to bug him. Not to mention that when Nissan retired the Skyline name, it continued in Japan on the Infiniti G cars, so bring those to the game!

GT7 has gone on a good direction and at the same time, a bit backwards with the car selection.

The good, is that all of the cars in the game are incredibly detailed, as close as it possibly can be to real life, a full interior which also has a working dash, and the car sounds have improved massively. For the number of real life cars the game has, in terms of ratio, it may be arguably the best game in terms of car sound. Other games, like ACC, have more realistic car sounds, but they have 20 cars... not 300.
And another very good thing is that you have a lot less duplicates than before. They still do exist, some of them borderline ridiculous, but in far less number.

We have long since been past the 2d looking era of the PS2. Ever since the PS3's final days, LOOKS and GRAPHICS have had an enourmous role on games. Because the points of games like Gran Turismo is to get closer to real life as possible.

I loathed having to race those PS2 cars alongside the same piece of tarmac as the more detailed PS3 models. It felt incredibly out of place, the car sounds were beyond terrible on most of them also didn't even handle like they should've.

The bad is that the game has too many fictional cars and given that it has been in development since the end of GT6, almost 9 years ago, it only managed to get about 330 real life cars. For the amount of time that has passed, this is incredibly disappointing (alongside majority of the game itself tbh).

And the other bad side... This is a 2022 game and you barely have any up to date cars in it.

tbh the car details in gran turismo games is the best i have seen in video games atleast in my opinion they have done a great job with that so i can live with the fewer amount of cars this game have to offer compared to previous games what i hate is the SAFETY cars / VGT cars / cars from the year 1780 and the so many toyota / subaru 86 wich make the cars count even less

The sheer number of vehicles says nothing about how "valuable" they are for the game. If, like in the past, there are 20 different R34s or similar, then this quantity alone is not important. And I say that even though I especially like the skylines and I think you can never have enough of them.

There are some models ( classic and current ) that I would really like to see in the game, but I don't have high hopes for that.

On the subject of Acura and the like, I think that's probably because some of these brands/models aren't offered all over the world and are therefore not "important" enough. The vehicle market is unfair anyway.... there are sooo many "beautiful/interesting" vehicles, for example. are not offered in Europe and others that are eg. not available in the US. I can well imagine that these vehicles will not appear in the game.
