Okey just went to GT Auto and it appears ya'll are right, the 2CV is paintable. It used to not be unpaintable but it is now.!

Having a good time doing engine and chassis swaps, best one so far is a 69rm camero with an esperante engine up to 1200hp and 1085kg. 58 seconds around high speed ring lol. Just having issues doing 4WD conversions on some cars. My tvr speed 12 powered az-1didnt really work out. LS7 swpas have been prob the funnest out of evrything. Scion fr-s being the best so far

I've noticed that swapping another chassis onto certain cars that are normally a 4-speed make it a 5-speed,such as R92pc chassis on a NASCAR. This is using the gt5 editor. It happens without swapping in a different trans.

Just tried out the Car Color Sample and I must say that car is wierd on so many levels! Took a look at it in GT Auto and you can change the wheels on it and when you do it looks pretty awkward. It is funny watching that dude change the oil on it and when they try to wash it they are scrubbing in all the wrong places and miss a bunch of spots!


Whenever your driving it, it has some strange camera angles. First view (normal view) and second view work just fine, third view makes the whole background real dark and when you try to press L1 to look back,it doesn't work, it just makes the background brighter for a brief second. The forth view is like binocular vision, it magnifies everything it kind of looks like your moving alot slower than what you are. To be honest you can't even see the car when your driving it, but you can in replays.

I spent last night putting the 20B from the LM RX-7 into a road-going RE Amemiya RX-7, and just for good measure I swapped in the LM RX-7 chassis too.

Well here are some of the unpaintable cars that are paintable through hacking:

Ferrari F10. Blu Nart

Ferrari F2007. Color is Blu Nart

DMC Delorean. Can't tell to well but it is silver chrome.

Toyota 7 Race Car. Car is painted with the DLC Fluoresence red paint.

Ford GT 40 Race Car. Silver chrome.

Plymouth Hemi Cuda. Repost.

HPA Motorsports Golf. Silver chrome.

Pagani Zonda LM Race Car. Crappy color I know, but I wanted to make sure the changes were visable.

Going to try and find more.

Yea I love the GT40! I have another painted with the DLC blue chrome (whatever it is called) and it looks even better! It is like the paint it had originally, only chrome!

As for the Zonda, I think that color looks tacky on it. I only painted it that so that way other people can see the difference clearly.

We can get the STD versions of cars formerly exclusive to importing from GTPSP and restricted to arcade mode into GTLife, and treat them like any other car. Tickets is the Key

The base color cannot be changed to a specific color of choice. We cannot gold stripe the ACR at least not that Im aware of...

Even more strange is you can not paint another car in the color of the vipers that don't give a paint chip. Well actually you can paint a car with it, but it will be the very dark black. Above the car it will show the viper paint chip's name.

So these:

Copperhead orange
Viper Slate Crystal
Viper Red

are only available on the cars in the ncd.

I'm not sure what your talking about.

Default Dealership paint is the same code for all cars, the dealership available colors cycle through an additional code that is a simple 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 selection. If there is no paint chip for the color you cannot apply it to another car, you can only cycle the cars default dealership paint with the default chip on the car... I just checked and confirmed all Vipers come with the default paint chip (as expected) So you cannot apply any viper paint to any car, unless you get a paint chip when you buy the car.

If you have a paint chip for those colors it was given with a car. A paint chip code is only available when a paint chip is given.

First off i got a paint chip for both of them.... Then I applied the paint chip in the GTAuto menu (No hack) to the Bora the USED Car...

Yes those are the three colors available normaly.

Look for the nicer shade of race yellow.
