blog.eu doesn't work with Google Chrome for me, and I get the same error page you get. When I try with Firefox, it works just fine. Could be a browser thing.

If you haven't already, try clearing your cookies and cache. I just did it in Chrome and it works now.

There never was a deadline for announcing the new date, the official statement was "We expect to confirm a new release date until the end of the month" or something like that.

Exactly, remember this is the site that managed to put cockpit views into standard cars.
With a statement of "Standard cars will not support internal views".

Of course members on here are going to come up with " were getting a release date this week" from the phrase expected.

Yep, the silence from Sony is deafening. They haven't so much as mentioned anything about GT5 since announcing the delay. This is going to be the biggest exclusive PS3 launch ever and Sony is saying nothing about it. Almost no Ads, no commercials, nothing. If they knew this thing was coming out in a month, they'd be advertising the crap out of it, even without a firm release date.

Besides the X1, the US GT site hasn't been updated since Sep 16. This doesn't look or act like any of the other game launches I've seen. Either Sony is just playing this one different than almost any game launch in history(unlikely) or it's "see you all in the spring of 2011".
