GTP_Aderrrm :)

I only have about 5 friends on my PSN because I don't enjoy online gaming. Hopefully GT5 and me putting my name down on this list will change that. :P

Hey Aderrrm, it looks like you are the first D1 driver to put your name down.

Welcome aboard đź‘Ť

Give me a week to build up my career then I'll be online.
oh wait... Black ops on the 9th, crap.
I need to get my other ps3 working.

my PSNID: ShawnPhillips

PSN: PIOTROV121
looking forward to some clean fun racing.
Cant say im great but I race clean. Please add me.

Right then, everyone has been added to the list on the first post so check I've got your details right and PM if anything needs changing. Don't forget to let me know your WRS diversion. to Aderrrm for being the fastest guy so far.

I've linked my new PSN ID to a my PS3 so you can add me as a friend now, don't forget to add and accept friend requests for everyone one the list.

We’ve had some more details about the online multiplayer mode confirmed during the E3 announcements on the US PS Blog

As you can expect from any Gran Turismo game, GT5 will be bigger and better than ever, including everything from 950+ cars to a new and improved online component with expansive community features and custom race lobbies.

Also here is an extract from the Eurogamer hands on article.

From the photo mode, Yamauchi turns his attention to the online suite, as this is the first Gran Turismo game to include extensive PSN functionality. GT5's actually become a rather social game over the course of its development, and the current build supports BBS, personal logs, mail, and something called My Lounge. That turns out to be a friends network of sorts, where you can gather with other players and chat, or check up on their progress in the game, alongside the nifty stuff like setting up races and spectating on events that are already underway.

You really can follow the action as closely as you want, too, moving about the track, focusing in on the separate cars, and sending messages to the players who are racing, hopefully catching them at just the wrong moment so they make a mess of the next corner and dump their Porsche(!) into a nearby tree.

Hopefully as E3 progresses more will be revealed about GT5 and the online mode but it’s good to know the community features and custom race lobbies are confirmed so GTPlanet members will be able to race together and set up friends networks. Roll on November :D

Will get some practice before going online! I'll be shaking with excitement so go easy on me.

Do not adjust your set, the car in front is weaving erratically!

I think I'll wait for GT5 and hopefully we will get a new challenge for WRS, but I suspect I will want to get some practice in before hand.

PSN: Arkano6 (6 not a 5 like my forum name)

Would try and get a GTP_ PSN, would love one, but I don't want to lose all my BC2 stats and such.

All added đź‘Ť

Just create a new user on you PS3 and a GTP_PSN ID that you only use for GT5 and continue to use your existing PSN for all your other gaming, sorted :)

Just saw this in your sig E.N. here's my info đź‘Ť

Jump_Ace - GTP_Jump_Ace, WRS Division 1

Please guys, I really hope you may find some time to create a new account (it will be an additional one) that starts with GTP_
It will make things a lot easier for any of us.
Every GTP driver will be clearly identified as a member of this group.
'We are family'...singing... I got all the drivers and me... (ops sorry...)

Adding a new account is a piece of cake... just follow EvilNeal suggestions (1st post of this thread, as we know)
Thank you

All added up to this point đź‘Ť

Nice one Jump Ace, good to see more premos and another division 1 driver

As RoadRunners99 says it is a good idea to create another GTP_PSN ID and will make it a lot easier to identify fellow GTPers, it also shows your commitment to follow the GTPlanet online racing rules which are detailed in the links in the first post of this thread.

BTW Here's your new avatar RoadRunners99

:sly:

Also don't forget this thread is also for discussion of GT5's online mode which we are getting a few new details about during E3. Following the closed door meeting at E3 Motortrend have revealed the below details.

-- Online –

- Community connectivity allowed.
- Each user gets a “My Lounge” to connect with fellow racers.
- Once in lounge, users can chat, watch racing, race each other.
- Lounge can be password protected for certain friends.
- Every user gets a viewable profile that shows game progress, status, and ability.
