GT5 Quick Tune: ***VERSION 3.1***

I am a big fan of the tool, and use it both directly and indirectly (via RDAardvark's Android app)a lot.

I was wondering if you have any plans to update it following the latest GT5 update? I'm not sure if there are any impacts to your quicktune calculator after the Aero and Ride Height changes they made. Have you seen any impact from those changes?

I've done a little bit of testing since the update and don't see any reason to revise Quick Tune at this time. About the only consistent thing I've noticed is that I now have to alter the final drive in many of my cars due to the new downforce model, but that doesn't effect the sheet itself.

Glad to see you're still finding it useful. On a related note, the current version is now approaching 4000 downloads. Whoo hoo!

Good morning,
I have used your spread sheet in the past with some very interesting results.
Since we have gone through 3 updates since the above post have you recently tested Quick Tune and its compatibility to the new updates?

Thanks again for this great tool.

Oops, haven't checked in for a while. Personally I haven't seen any reason to revise the formulas. If somebody finds a specific issue with QuickTune due to any changes in the game physics, I'd be happy to investigate. Thanks, and cheers.

Hey, oppositelock, I'm learning iOS development and am making a QuickTune app for my own use on my iPad. As I go along, it's starting to look and function great, so I was wondering if I can publish it with your algorithms to the App Store (for free) when it's complete. Of course, you'd be credited for your hard work, both in-app and in the App Store description.

As I'm a graphic designer, not a programmer, development is moving along at a somewhat slow pace - and I won't release until I achieve a product that I can take pride in, so as of now, no ETA.

The only difference that I find is in the ride heights. If you could recalculate the maximum setting to 175 or more, I think that it would calculate fine for GT6. Or is there a way we can change the calculation in the Excel spreadsheet formula? THANKS!

I'm currently working on a revamped version. I need to do more testing, particularly in regards to downforce. I will post it in the GT6 tuning forum as soon as its ready.

I guess that we are at your mercy.... I've tried a lot of the different tunes out there (here) & yours works the best for me. I'm kind of lost without it in GT6!

Good Night Mr. º oppositelok.
-this spreadsheet was developed with deep knowledge in physics mechanical engineering and also fantastic mathematical systems analyst working'm a layman on the subject but I tell you with sincerity fantastic job not have words gt5 was already good this gt6 now even better parabens
