Monticello Motor Club!! MMC (located in USA:New York)

It would be great to drive it in GT5 and then do it in real-life!!! Plus the "Full Course" is 4.1 miles with 22 turns. It also has varying layouts.

We all know the ending movie has a slide show of tracks layouts on the left. But I was watching some old trailers and I noticed some things. Is the E3 07 trailer:

At 0:26 there is a sign and a long strait, but I cannot tell what track it is. Any ideas?

Then at 0:30 we see a narrow forest. Which does not seem like a race track. Most likely fictional or just for the video.

Then at 0:33 we see what looks to be the same track, that now goes into a long sweeper. Still have no idea.

At 0:37 I am convinced it is an Asian city due to the multicolored lights and unique architecture. Probably Japan.

Then at 0:40-42 I am convinced I am looking at the exit tunnel from the Monaco circuit. The lighting, the shape, the pillars, etc.

Of course this is all irrelevant until GT5 comes out but as far as hints go I think this is a good one.

i think that long straight could be some part of nurburgring nordshleife, but im not sure

I personally love some of the more scenic courses like El Captain, Eiger Nordwand and Costa di Amalfi. Even bring back the old Tahiti Road from GT2 in high definition goodness.

I just think those kind of tracks lend themselves to the majority of production cars available in GT. Sure, the real-life race tracks have their place, but the truth is a lot of them were designed for high performance race cars. If the allure of the GT series is driving cars you see on the streets every day, then maybe it wouldn't hurt if we had a few less 'new' race tracks and a few more road courses like those mentioned above... or maybe some long point to point roads like others have mentioned in other posts. Down the side of a mountain? A three hour endurance stretch up the coast of California?

Ok, so with all the recent hype with tracks, I thought it would be better to put them into one topic, that way we know exactly what tracks we have seen so far in GT5. Its not a wish list, so unless you actually have a screen shot, then it won't count. Please make sure your submits follow the format below.

Feel free to post corrected tracks etc. I'll keep updating the main page, so keep checking. Also, please check the main page to ensure you are not submitting a track already on the list.

Not all of these 'locations' are confirmed.

Don't forget the High Speed Ring ;)

Added.

But they could be added in a "suspected" list - a bit like the 359's car list - he has different colours depending on the inclusion level.

C.

Ok, I'll add this. Something I'll do when I get back from work.

Indianapolis, not 'inndinapolis', let's get the spelling right.

Yep, my spelling isn't brilliant, so feel free to pick me up on.

No problem, mine isn't great I began wondering if their was a track named 'inndinapolis' LoL! Correct spelling just insures no mass confusion for me and the :dunce:'s alike :sly:.

So...if the information with 20 locations with 70 variations is true, we have 11 locations right there. Personally, I would bet that also ...

Tsukuba
Motegi
Monte Carlo
Laguna Seca
Top Gear Test Track (isn't that one in the E3-trailer?)

...Madrid (I thought it was confirmed they were working on it?)

...are in. Just a hunch though, but I would bet my left n.. that they will not leave out the Japanese tracks and their many variations. That makes 16 or 17 locations, and only 3 or 4 left. So, practically no original GT-tracks anymore...?

For me, I always prefer real tracks to made up ones, but it would be sad to lose them anyway.

Just add Bathurst and Macao and I'll be happy.

A track seen in the E3 video was shown on a runway, but Top Gear Track has not yet been confirmed officially by PD.

Indianapolis motor speedway is the correct name
:)

Ladys and Gents, can make sure you follow the formula for sumitting tracks, its hard to figure out which ones you want added otherwise. Thanks.

Yes clearly I'm AWARE OF THAT, what's important is getting the actual name correct, motor speedway doesn't help much if your looking for inndinapolis, or whatever the incorrect spelling was.

I think Madrid should be in blue cause we haven't seen any screenshot of the track itself. It was just mentionned on a gaming site or a magazine if I recall.
