For the first 10-15 secs on the 2nd one it kinda sound like the beging of Change of Seasons- Dream Theater, but then i realized i was on crack and it wasn't.
 
I can't believe that I beat all you drift guys to it..

"Around the World" and "Rage my Dream" by Move. 👍

"Pack it Up" The Pretenders ("..what I can't carry, bury.")
"Down the Line" Buddy Holly (only song he ever made about cars)
"Maybelline" Chuck Berry (am I the only one who loves that Blasters tune?)
 
A HDD will come with the PS3, around about 60GB. So expect a good size for custom soundtracks.
 
lots of my favorite songs dont fit so well with gran turismo driving, cant imagine listening to dire straits or pink floyd with GT.

but I think these would fit in well, off the top of my head

"Push it" - Garbage
"Miami Vice" - Jan Hammer :sly:
 
One thing I want to see (hear) badly in Gran Turismo 5 is some excellent menu music. I'm idling Forza right now, and the Career Mode tunes by Junkie XL are superb, a wide selection of ambient rock, very tastefully done. This stuff is so good, I'll probably use it as background music in a roleplay I'm running.

Gran Turismo needs to sound something like this.

Great!

I only like a few songs out of all the soundtracks in GT4. The song at the beginnig, some hip-hop by WillIAM, and a few others. Customizable soundtrack is great!
 
I really don't lie music in racing games though... It ruins the experience.
So the custom soundtrack is pointless to me. Other then i use it in the menu. Thats why i like Forza, it's fun to be in the menu listening to Dream Theater.

I have to admit, I'm agreeing with most of these. Though if Feeder bring out another album, then I'm sure they'll have some of their songs on there. They always do!
I would also like them to include old ones as well, as pay of respect. I remember the days of listening to Sweet 16 - Feeder and Lose Control-Ash!

Bleh, not good racing music. Some really hard charging stuff for racing. I don't really like Hip-Hop, but it would work out good in the menus.

Why is there so many against Hip-Hop and Rap.....

Its just another genre of music. Its roots go back more than Classic or Pop, why exclude it?

Indeed, Hip-Hop goes back hundreds of years. It's just what it has turned into. It's turnned into something that is saposed to be "Ghetto" Which big 24" rims on a Escalade isn't "Ghetto"

The word "Ghetto" is basically a old poor, run down part of a city.

That is why people hate Rap/Hip-hop so much. I don't blame them, but i do like hip-hop that doesn't evolve those things. Rapping about how big your spinners are, or how many hoes you slept with last night in your bed, or how much money you have, or how many people you have shot down, isn't exactlly tasteful. It's the reason why MTV sucks soo much.
 
As long as I can turn individual songs off, I'm for every category you could ask for. But really, the songs need to be upbeat, quick tempo, race quality music and rap is pretty much not that.
