GT5 Traders Reputation Thread - See Post#1 For Updated Terms Of Use

Just a quick aside. Recently I looked to enter into a trade with someone who was quickly pointed out to having quite a negative reputation here. I did appreciate the quickness with which this was pointed out in the relevant trade thread. The thread then quickly descended into a free for all between the OP and those making what were initially quite valued points of information. I covered my own arse by insisting that the OP send first, with no guarantees that the car I was after would arrive. Apparently others had had some success trading with the bloke so I was just a little hopeful that the car would arrive.

Constant devaluing of the thread though led to the OP bailing and killing off any potential deals in the thread. Whilst it was greatly appreciated by myself that the initial points made showed this blokes' previous dishonesty, the further (even though they may have been warranted) pot shots at him killed off any trades I may have had going there.

So yes, please continue to uncover the horse traders where and when they show up... but then leave it at that.

On a positive note, some good traders:

The problem with this was, sure after being rumbled he agreed to send 1st but he set up a thread and was offering out cars and trading whilst owing a fair few of us cars still. :dunce:

People get scammed and move on, but if the person is then stupid enough to set up a trading thread while having many outstanding trades thats not going to be ignored! All he had to do was keep his end of previous trades and clear his name, he choose to leave.

Scamming people for virtual cars......I mean really,beyond pointless especially when there are so many good people on this forum giving away free stuff! :P

I don't disagree with you on your points, I'd a been pretty pissed had I been in your shoes....and he was confronted and the facts and history made public.

As you point out...they are just virtual cars, whether you are the scammer, or the scammee.

I'm far from pissed off about it, I help people out all the time for free. I posted my experience with him in here and left it at that........ He then decided to use me as a reference in his thread to confirmed he was a good trader, this at the same time as still owing me a car and ignoring my PM I sent. So I told him not to use my name to make him look good.

The guy got what he deserved and he's no loss to this community. :)

To get back in the reason for this thread:

Christsra321 and HOODFIELD + positive, 2 of the best. 👍

Helped me complete my TVR collection and finish up my trading. :D

Just so as everbody knows paulamag (r-smales) is a scammer i sent him 6 tickets he returned 2 and 5 matte paints, he then left a nice message on my visitors page when i deleted him.

EDIT: I would like to thank the moderators for banning him. This forum will be better without him.👍👍
