GT5P has one third person camera view, how many will GT5 have?

Just as the subject says: anyone know how many third person camera angles GT5 will have? I think it's strange that GT5P has one camera...I have gotten used to it, but more options would be nice especially a closer camera angle.

GT has always liked to switch around the 3rd person camera from game to game, I think they're going back to the GT3 style camera for GT5 (judging by Gamescom demo and GT PSP)

I predict...one?

On a side note, GT1 let you change the way the camera follows the car (close, far, loose, static, etc.) in the options screen. I'd like to see this feature make a return in GT5.

yea i emailed Kaz about this earlier today and he responded with 42.

the real answer to your question is how should we know the game isnt out yet and all we have is one demo of the game to go off of. but my guess 1 because you should be in the cockpit cam admiring the glory of the finely stitched leather steering wheel in your ferrari.

No need for the sarcasm really was there ?

I noticed they've changes the chase camera in the latest videos from gamescom. The camera isn't glued to the back of the car now, so you can see a little down the sides, like GT3/4. This is a good thing I think, because the chase cam in GT5P make it difficult to judge slides and results in some... tank slappers. That said, I've adjusted to it now, so I'll probably have to adjust to the new camera angles.

However, replying to the OP, I think GT5 will have 3 camera angles.

- chase camera
- interior view
- bumper camera

It would be good to have common replay view, it would be fantastic to arrange car to exact positions for later photomode or just watch the beauty of the cars live from the outside. Cockpit view should be the default one or their sequence adjustable in options, I hate to switch select everytime I start the game. The game should have helicopter view following the track and not the car as well.

And roof cam. But I'm hopeful that either there will be variations for all four, or better yet, the ability to adjust them to suit you perfectly like some PC sims allow.

I think i adjusted to GT5P, although like you guys said it's a little more difficult to know when a car is ready to slide. So i welcome them 4 camera views (bumper, roof, interior, moving chase cam) & allowing the interior to be a default cam.If the keyboard is compatible then you probably won't need to sequentially change views.

Does anyone use 3rd person view?? I think its near impossible to drive in. I can never get a good feel on how the can is handling in that view. Bumper or Cockpit or bust!

I use the 3rd person view for admiring the cars really, it's difficult to see where to start braking for a bend in 3rd person view.

I've had friends say that. I drive in 3rd cause I like to see the car... To me that never made sense.
