GT6 2016-17 STORAGETRUNKS GT500 SERIES - SPEC BY GTForum.eu - Monday Nights 18:30UKFinished

@mirial all is goods đź‘Ť just wanted clarification on whether your to stop and let the driver pass again as in the OLR or just carry on and wait for a possible report

Like I care. I want the incident to be reviewed as I can't have my race ruined and then the incident report gets ignored.

Unless you want me to have all of my races ruined and not report anything.

You are the one ignoring rules by stating they you dont care what the main organiser mentioned above.

I'm still asking the incident to be reviewed, and, can you tell me how can someone break a rule which hasn't been written in Post 1?

When posting an incident report, please only do so if the outcome is worth reporting.
If the car that contacts you is out of control or contact is made unintentionally
then we cannot penalise the offending driver.

Only incidents where there is clearly Intent to overtake or bully without regard for the
other driver or generally driving in a manner that is deemed ungentlemanly or short cutting regularly.

Most of us are not mega fast, but we always try to be fair and that needs to be very important and understood.

The only exception to this rule will be made if a car is forced by another car outside or they are avoiding an accident.

If your car runs very wide and you have no momentum to rejoin the track without using the throttle you are permitted to do so if your car speed falls below 30mph 48kph and you can only then gain a speed of 30mph 48kph until 2 wheels are inside the track limits.

Is there anything saying "if you quit and have an incident report, the report will be rejected"?

Was it ever put in place? No.

So be just and don't give penalties to only one person (me in this case).

Okay but you can't say "you breached this rule" when the rule will be on effect AFTER Cape Ring.

Indeed after Cape ring but im pretty sure you'll rage quit again by the end of this long season.

I hope im mistaking as quitters will get 2 points deducted from total points per rage quit.

As I mentioned after race yesterday - Winners never quit and quitters never win.

It would fall within this part of the OLR:

"All drivers will be expected to drive with due care and consideration to other drivers.
Bumping cars ahead and causing them to run wide or rubbing alongside cars and forcing them to run wide and gaining any advantage must be rectified by giving back any position gained.

Overtaking
It will be the responsibility of the overtaking driver to ensure there is no contact between cars at any time.
If a driver forces another car off the track by attempting an overtake and then leaves no room for the car being overtaken to continue will be penalised.
If a driver being overtaken clearly weaves or moves to block and causes contact there will be heavy penalties.
All drivers must ensure that they do all they can to avoid contact.
The driver ahead must always give room to a car that is 1/4 length or more alongside going into a corner.

All avoidable accidents reported will be reviewed and will points deducted at the stewards discretion."

The split second I realised I was going to hit you, it was too late, but I knew I hadn't made an error (missed braking point etc) so assumed with the speed difference, that you had made just a mistake so I decided immediately after, that in my opinion it was 50/50 racing incident. Had I known for sure that it was my fault at the time (without looking at the data) then I would have waited. It's mostly my fault in that I went in their Scandinavian style without evaluating what others in front were also doing, but I made the allowance of you being several car lengths in front, so took the risk of not going carefully.

Just my opinion; I've reviewed incidents before, but the guy behind can't always be to blame. With regards to driving in front, erratic speed differences on the way in, running off line coupled with exercising accident avoidance should be considered as well with incidents. A minimum standard of consistency going into corners should be established so that both the driver behind knows when he can make a legitimate move and the driver in front is aware of his own speed and consistency going into corners so that he can develop the ability to avoid collisions when his own speed and consistency are in doubt. If a driver is erratically slow/fast on the way into corners then the driver behind has every right to make a legitimate overtake and pass even with contact....just my opinion of course :D

@mirial , I have to agree with you, if you braked at your normal point for last corner and the car infront is going much slower than you ever expected than it must be treated as a racing incident. I will check the replay now and let you know the verdict.

I also had a situation with @jontikis where I slightly bump him off line (2 laps to go, just after second split) but he was on 45 min old rubber, defending all over the track and his braking points where way to early for me to react. I'd like if stewrads @Daniel199025 and @Stephen Vann can take a look at it please.

As I already mentioned last season after several on track incidents, stewards will start handing out yellow card's, warning and penaties more often than not. Apologies after the race are just not doing the trick as we have same issues every race.

By giving out a yellow/warnig/penatly to a driver, don't take it personally, we are just going by the rules posted in OP.

Honestly warning or any other penaties are not really harsh in this series as we still try to keep it friendly. Back in Pure series we had a winner DQ from race results after he cut a corner more than 5 times, here we are not so strict but still we must have a penalty system. This is a video game but it's still competition.

Race replays will be checked after race by stewards, even if you are not reported after race by other members, if you have been violating any kind of rules and regulations you will be given yellow/warnig/penatly in any case.

Stop quitting the races when something happens. Rage quitting is one of the things most stewards don't like in a series. From what I see is you rage quit a lot.
Yes, I'm still around :D

Winners never quit and quitters never win.
You're right and not right at the same time as, remember, I have won 2 races.

you rage quit a lot
Compared to other people I've met *cough* insert name here *cough* it's nothing.

I've quit 3 times, that's not a lot.

Finally. đź‘Ť

@monkeywall - Yellow Card for Rejoining Track After an Off Without Regards To Oncoming Traffic(lap 9, involved @CrazyJohn )
I was going to report that but I forgot to do so.

I was catching up to mirial, and that put an abrupt end to it.

@monkeywall, I would like to apologise to you for bumping you at the the last turn I wasn't expecting you to brake so early and I was coming in too hot to react lol...
I did however wait for you just so everyone's aware lol...

I will be changing my car colours to white and yellow as I was inspired by the Cypriot flag so I put the colours on the car.

I quit and left one race last season. Then gave my nephew my PS3 so he had a machine to play when his Xbox died. The rest that I did race in, I finished the race or parked it in the pits. So your "cough insert name cough" little remark isn't justified. Plus you like to argue with the stewards, which I don't find amusing at all.

I wasn't referring to you by saying *cough* insert name *cough*.

By the way, guys, look, Greece became Greenland's son in terms of weather:
