Alot better than Sneaper's list. They had like 15 honda civics and then they said that having slightly different versions of the same car is quirky. Well HELL NO SNEAPER. Having completley new cars is what EVERYBODY calls quirky and that we would rather have new cars.

there is no difference with these two cars

Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec N1 (R34)

Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (R34)

I'd rather have a Chevy El Camino instead of the same car. I think that is more quirky.

1. Those cars were not on my list, and there were few cars on my list that would warrant you listing these two as examples. So I'm confused.

2. The reason why I'm confused is because there are a number of differences between those two cars. Warranting a name change. The N1 was a homologation special built for racing and sold to teams that then raced them. The V-Spec II was the pinnacle in road-going performance with a number of braking and suspension modifications among other things. The differences are subtle, but they're there.

3. When you make something digitally, it's very easy to take things that are similar to other cars and simply copy-paste them. We'll most likely see more R34 duplicates in the future because of this. Again, it's just easier to make a car when you don't have to start over. All I (and others, I'm sure) ask is that any difference between cars been more than skin deep if applicable.

I like how you use "everybody" in place of "I" and "we" in place of "I" as well. Since you're inadvertently asking for it, I'm going to show you all the "slightly different versions" of the "15 honda civics" on my list.

Sure do look pretty different, don't they?

I'm guessing you'd hate it if GT ever decided to put Multiple versions of a '69 Camaro in the game, wouldn't you? I know I'd hate having to pick between an RS, RS/SS, SS, Yenko and COPO ZL1 (in addition to the Z/28 already in the game), too. And that's before we even get into all the different engine versions that were available with some of those.

Why are you all talking about road cars now? this is a racing game, not a 55 MPH cruise around London stopping at stop signs... lol

It's a driving game. Don't mock everyone for liking road cars and cruising. GT isn't called "The Real Racing Simulator". It's "The Real DRIVING Simulator".

This isn't Need for Speed, it's Gran Turismo.

You forgot one!

But I completely agree! I'd love to see some new Rally Raid trucks, especially the ones from the marques already in the game (though Bowler making an appearance would be awesome).

N1 has CFRP mirrors.

[/Fact]

Plus it's a lot better than what the Americans were producing at the time. I'm happy we have lots of Japanese cars, it makes a change from other games where you get nothing but USDM cars...

Right-hand drive for the win 👍

I'm hoping this time around GT6 will have Cadilac CTS-V both sedan/coupe, the XLR and the new ATS. Please bring back Vauxhall so many badass cars come from Austrailia its a shame they aren't represented in the game as much

Well, I have gone through all 24 pages of this thread and there have been some good and some bad ideas. Here is what I can take from it. Some of you have fabulous ideas like El Camino, 80s 90s f1's and I thought I would have to be the first to say the Ute needs to be in the game; and not just from one make. Chevrolet has a Ute ss released in South Africa that is essentially a modern day El Camino from the U.S. Americans would love to see that even in real life.. I'd buy one for sure hands down.. Car companies are stupid when it comes to their research of demographic. As well as Video Game creators like Gran Turismo people. They should have had a basis for selecting cars for the game. Any business person can tell you they surely lacked a steady and stern start. Where the game sells needs to also be the focus where you research what cars go into the game. So that being said, let's say that the U.S., Aus., Japanese., and several countries within Europe are critiqued in terms of what cars do the people like.. and more importantly, what cars that are made in that country do the citizens of that represented country like most, want most and which do they not want. By selecting 10 modern and 10 old style cars from country, per country, would give the makers of Gran Turismo a great base for starting out the list for this new game. Should have been done for GT5. More like GT what the hell is wrong now.. or geeze, get it right or don't release the game. Here is some more advice.. When new cars are released to the public, release a dlc of that car/product so we can drive the new car in the game. And if you don't have or can't get the license, screw it.. More people that play GT5 would rather play a game that has more look a like cars that they want to see in the game versus 20 japanese cars that are soo close together spec wise, you essentially have 20 cars, that are all the same. This is a business world, and business 2301 tells you that you do not put 20 of the same product out there unless your name is APPLE. But even those products have at least a variation. But in GT5, 20 cars that only have a difference of 30HP and 60kg at a total of under 400hp is worthless. Once you have your set list of cars.. Break them down into categories and figure out which ones you would rather release in dlc packs.. hence, MONEY to the creators.. LISTEN!!! There are some great cars in this thread that needs to def. be in GT6 but I am 90% sure it won't be. So again, if you don't have the license, make a look a like and seek a lawyers input because I guarantee you can do this! put it under your own name, (Gran Turismo). I mean its already there.. make look a likes and make your consumer happy; which gives you. the creator of the game pre guaranteed profits.

Well you guys here on gtp are doing great with the ideas, keep it up. and I know it said no Pictures for every car. But if the car you want in the game isn't already listed in this thread (do your homework) then post it up because it is great to see new cars that i have never even seen before. I will be posting my list of wanted cars at a later date.

Thanks for reading and if you agree, post this message wherever you think it will make a difference and get cars in the game that we, the consumer want! Get the makers of the game to listen.
