Isn't a Ute half car, half truck? Anytime I've heard the term "Ute" there's a vehicle that is half car, half truck nearby. If so, the front license plate basically says, "US Ute."

Personally, I wouldn't classify it as a truck, but considering how "silly" PD can be, I wouldn't doubt it...haha

Thank you! Since you mentioned the Corvette, and we're roughly seven days away from GT6, any word on the C7.R? I'll see if I can find a rendering of said C7.R to post so I can contribute.

any word on the C7.R?

Corvette Racing has the C7.R built already, they tested it at Laguna Seca a while ago.

Here are some pics of it:

Hopefully they will have a sweet livery on it, not like what they've had for the last few years.

I'm talking about the 2008 "Jake Scrape" livery that was on the car.

Oh, and here is a C7R from the 90's.

Oh. Thanks! Maybe it'll make it to LeMans in 2014. I was rather disappointed when I found out that they we're sticking with the C6.R. Can't wait to see the C7.R in action.

What's up with the checkered pattern all over the 'Vette? Is that so we cannot make out the body work? Kind of like a mask?

It's a trick automakers use when testing a car. It's supposed to throw off one's eyes to make it harder to tell what car they are testing, and also helps to reduce clear photos of what car is being tested. So yes, basically a mask.

I suppose it is. They're being somewhat secretive about about a car that I (as well as a rival manufacturer) can analyze on their computer, they ain't foolin' me.

Not one bit. It's that time to develop the car as well as make necessary changes takes some time, and racing teams obviously want to get the most out of their cars, which can cause them to push back the in-action debut of a car.

Where did you hear that? They pretty are going full season with the C7.R (which will likely include the 24 Hours of Le Mans thanks to them winning the championship)
