With the GT6 demo incoming on on 2nd July 2013 at 9am BST on the PS3, the questions you've wanted answers for will soon be answered.

Is this the game we always expected?
Should we be happy its still for PS3?

What's your thoughts?

Here's my first question, will the demo support triple screen output?

Won't be able to tell much from the demo. Many of the things I am wanting to see likely will not be there in the demo version but still looking forward to it and the new physics.

Yes. Don't have to buy a new console and we get it this year where as if it were for the PS4 would have to buy a PS4 and likely wait at least another year for it to be released.

Who knows, maybe if you have 3 PS3 systems.

Questions and expectations will only answered / satisfied to a point though, the demo we get is at best going to be a "current build" version of the game that likely will not be a complete and accurate representation of the finished product. Meaning while some elements like the physics may be a relatively "finished" version other elements like sound may not be, so really whatever we find in the demo should be taken with a reasonable pinch of salt.

This is one question that, for me, has already been answered in a way by some of the info on Forza 5. Now I'm not trying to bash the game or start a fight, what I mean is there are certain features that appear won't be included in the title which makes me think Microsoft may be pushing T10 to hurry their game out as a launch title for the new console without giving them proper time to fully develop it into what it could and should really be.

In some ways I'm glad that PD is sticking with the PS3, though I'm sure they're under similar pressure to get the title released they at least have the advantage of knowing the platform inside and out. Couple that with the way the development is shaping up and it seems like a lot of what they're doing now with / for GT6 will put them in very good stead when it comes time for a PS4 title.

I am with HBR-Roadhog here. We might get a view on the new physics and visuals, but not much more. Many new or improved features have not been disclosed yet. I dont think that we will a big change in physics as from GT5:P to GT5, but you never know what PD will do.

Atleast we get our hands on GT6 early and for free. Let's hope there are enough different cars, so everybody can get a good impression from the game.

If Australia don't get the "demo" then I know a few people who won't be very impressed. I am not holding my breath because we have missed out before.

You could still get it.

Switzerland never had the chance to be part of the academy, but we got the demo anyway (with leaderboard, but we weren't eligible for the actual contest. And if we hadn't got the academy demo, I'd have downloaded it from another account with different nationality.

Just have to wait and see. Not really much to tell from the videos. But I have faith that 6 will be great. History has proif of the second GT games on console to be better than the first.

Depends on whether one is more motivated by the savings in not having to buy a console, or more excited at the possibilities of far superior technology/capacity in PS4. Personally, I'd rather the game on PS4

Unfortunately, that's always been the case. Turn 10 is a very talented studio. However, with what little time Microsoft gives them, they can't ever reach their full potential. The differences between Forza 3 and Forza 4 were negligible at best, and from what I've seen Forza 5 won't add much outside of changes to the community portion of the game, the A.I. system, and of course the leap in graphics that next-gen systems provide. Still no day/night change and weather effects, for example. They're a great team, they deserve more time. Otherwise, Forza 5 is going to end up one of those launch titles that doesn't stand on its own merits years down the line.

So yeah, I don't mind GT6 on the PS3. So far, I've always preferred the second GT on a platform more than the first, and GT6 seems like it will continue that trend.
