Hey guys, any confirmation which version of the demo PD will release on next week? Hopefully the demo are E3 version which include willow springs and matterhorn track.:)

No, it will be the academy version.

Most likely only with Nissans.

What else...

Yeah, it's going to be a Demo only using Nissan vehicles. Although, they just said it would include GT Academy, there wasn't really any reports saying that GT Academy was the only thing going to be playable. There still is a chance that we can at least drive the cars freely around the tracks provided.

The format changed quite a bit from 2011 to 2012 GT Academy. I'm hoping it goes back to full laps, as in 2011, not sections, as in 2012.

It'll be quite disappointing if we get only quick license test style events like last year. In order to really get to appreciate the physics, we need to be able to run a full lap at our own pace.

It's interesting to think about whether they'll show off most of the new tracks or not, and at what stages (since the competition's going to last a few weeks). I'm expecting at least all the new tracks that were in the E3 demos: Matterhorn, Willow Springs, Silverstone.

We can at least be pretty sure that the final track challenge, the one that will actually count, will be Silverstone. But then again, you never know, could be a track no one's even seen yet in GT (Bathurst, Brands Hatch?). We will see.

I think the difference here is that whatever is coming out on the 2nd isn't /just/ GT Academy, it's just 'hosting' GT Academy.

For all we know it could be the demo that we've seen at E3 with GT Academy as a second menu all together within the demo which will be unlocked on the appropriate date.

Long story short, we don't know - but with only a week to go we won't have to wait long to find out 👍

Another thread is already talking of this matter... by the way...

KY:
“We are very proud of this partnership with Nissan, and we have aimed to make a very appealing and accessible competition featuring a range of their cars. The challenges, even at this early stage of the competition, are designed to improve people’s race craft before they even make it to driving real cars.
“We have also incorporated the Silverstone circuit for the first time in Gran Turismo. This should ensure that competitors will arrive at Race Camp better prepared than ever.”

---------------

Briefly...IMO ... Nissan only, challenges (I suppose similar to the last academy) and a final time trial (Silverstone).

Anyway, we'll see soon...
