Ironically thats what the building in Spain supposed to look like.

It's part of the track, they must model it like so. Much like the Porsche ads at Le Mans.
They don't HAVE to model it perfectly, otherwise we'd see Forza adverts at Le Mans and correct advertisements through the Porsche Curves and other parts PD didn't bother to update.

Much like FM doesn't use the PS3 sponsor livery Peugeot 908, and GT doesn't use the Xbox sponsor livery.

Both Turn10 and PD are fully owned publishers, therefore the money spinners say they don't model X sponsor or Y sponsor in cars or tracks because they don't endorse or have the license for it.

Anywho, bringing the discussion from track modelling accuracy to what inarguably is an easter egg (for the second time today), I've found something interesting..

I decided to finally make something out of my hunt for names on GT original race cars. None of the cars I had a look at had particularly detailed names, if they had names on them at all.

As I worked my way down the list, I eventually reached the Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car. Seeing as this one is a little notorious, partly due to the interior, partly due to the SuperGT style racing number, I figured they may have put some names on that as well. And so, I searched the roof. No results. I then decided to check on the door, where you may also come across them.

I did come across something, but, ahm, it wasn't exactly what I had expected..

This image was taken from the front quarter panel. There's a logo and two lines of text with five letters in each. Can you tell what it is? No? Then let me show you what the door said:

Now, this is where it gets interesting. It doesn't taake much skill to read that it says "OMEGA BOOST".

But hey, that sounded familiar, didn't it? I'm sure I've read about that somewhere..

On to the Internet, where I found this (< it's completely harmless to click that link).

I challenge you all to find a better easter egg than this!

Edit: And just now do I see that @gtpanoz tree'd me by a solid half a year

A perfect example of an easter egg nonetheless.

Keeping with the times, man ;) Ah the 90's....

Yeah, I saw that too and took a picture of it, but i deleted it by error. :grumpy: There are actually two signs indicating Indy. Maybe if you get right in the middle of the two there is some kind of bigger easter egg.

Such as an earthquake followed by a giant golden statue of A-Spec Andy rising from the ground followed by 15 tons of confetti and an un-amended text string saying you have won the world and with it all the credits you can ever dream of, it then goes on to tell you that all cars and tracks, that is those already in GT6 all well as every single car/track in GT history (including the entire moon), in your copy (identified by your PSN ID) have been upgraded to PS34 texture quality with time, weather and season selection and said tracks can be accessed through Arcade or Online modes?

I'd take that.

Still have a better plot than Kingdom of the The Crystal Skull.

Lol jk.

Not GT6 related. I thought the "MO 4" sign was only seen from GT PSP, but on GT4 too?!

Well, GTPSP was nothing more then a simplified GT4 on a system that's essentially a miniature, simplified PS2 so naturally that was bound to appear.

..or maybe it was a sign reading "Gran Turismo 4" whose wireframe conflicted with the fence and part of it had to be removed? 💡

No, that's too far out..
Probably.... But the thing that baffles me

Why not move the sign up a bit.

For some reason, El Camino's steering wheel is for Chevelle.

That's because the '64 to '67 El Camino was based on the Chevelle. Wikipedia says "The 1964 model was similar to the Chevelle forward of the B-pillars and carried both "Chevelle" and "El Camino" badges, but Chevrolet marketed the vehicle as a utility model and Chevelle's most powerful engines were not available."

Yeah but it doesnt mean the steering wheel have to be Chevelle to right? Or is it IRL?
