thats the only time ive heard clocks in reference to a cars gauges
well they are displaying some kind of information, I'll grant that. but yes, I would call them gauges, or by their actual names, such as speedometer, odometer and revolution meter

so i just noticed on this pic i took at apricot hill at night, looks kind of like a video monitor
just not sure what it is displaying
if you look straight up from the front corner of the nsx, it is on the fence there

this is taken on the first corner it looks like, i really dont remember

It's GT logo. Everytime you take a photo, it will always appear (since GT5).

Not an Easter Egg at all...

That display is probably just a mini version of the larger one that is elsewhere on Apricot Hill. Someone should zoom in and check.

Danes indeed call it a "motor". For all I know of other languages, it is only english that uses this strange word "engine".

Engine is related, etymologically, to engineering and ingenuity, like machine is to machination and device to devise (which where those crazy US spelling reformists ought to have paid better attention the original French, for consistency, e.g. in defence, licence, practice etc. ;))

A motor is something that moves something else. Like "motor neuron", etc.

Also, both a speedometer and tachometer can easily be used as actual clocks, when combined with other cues (they both have an element of time inherent to their measurements).

After watching Kaz I learned they modeled the inside of the colosseum in the Rome circuit. Is it possible to take an in-game picture (helicopter POV)? Could some one verify?

Also there is a real possibility other buildings have details we can't normally see as it is related to the way they work.

Don't forget Kaz originally wanted the free roam aspect where you could get out of the car and look around at the beautifully modelled environments. I still think this will happen, but they will save it for GT7 and the extra power of the PS4.

I didn't remember that. It makes sense.

I'm not sure if this is an easter egg or not, but the Nissan R390 actually has a somewhat detailed interior.

These semi-premiums do make me wonder if they are a step in PD building the car for a 100% premium treatment. I mean the models themself. Is there anyone here who might have insight into if that is possible or would a premium car be needed to be built from scratch?

I always thought that too. I mean to me, they look like templates or cars that were in process of being rendered to premium status, but with the time deadline were released as is for the possibility of future update. Comparing it to my company, given the same situation (given that is what happen), we would do the same.

A fully modelled interior probably takes a month to scan and code. A semi premium interior like on that R390 probably only takes a day or two to create and has just enough detail to show some content when viewed through the windows. I'm worried PD won't go any further with these interiors due to the time it takes to make the fully premium. Exterior maybe. Interior maybe not.

You can see Big Ben and the Parliament Building from the London city circuit. Go into photo mode at Trafalgar Square, face away from Admiral Nelson, and aim the camera between the far right side of the stands and the building next to it, elevate all the way up and zoom in.

It was in GT5, but it's rendered in more detail in 6.
