Hi, sorry if this has already been posted, cant seem to find it

Does fuel weight play a role in GT6, for example will you be faster with 5L of fuel left compared to when driving with a full tank. Does less fuel lighten your car?

The fuel drains up so slowly that I think it would be hard to assess. But I don't think so. From the "fuel consumption" coffee break challenges, I did not notice any change in handling on those cars (that run on empty tanks basically) relative to their full tank counterparts. This is most probably why we're not given the chance to set the amount of fuel on which to start a race.

Yes, fuel has a weight in GT6. I made some acceleration tests a while back, toggling fuel depletion on/off in online mode.

Citroen 2CV - 0-80 Km/h
Tire/fuel depletion OFF: 39.64 seconds
Tire/fuel depletion ON: 44.13 seconds

Honda Life Step Van '72 - 0-80 Km/h
Tire/fuel depletion OFF: 24.67 seconds
Tire/fuel depletion ON: 26.13 seconds

Suzuki Wagon R RR '98 (tuned) - 0-100 Km/h
Tire/fuel depletion OFF: 7.92 seconds
Tire/fuel depletion ON: 8.28 seconds

I think since fuel tanks for most cars are 100 liters big, the fuel penalty when fuel consumption is enabled should be around 75 Kg. Light cars are the ones which suffer the most from this standardized fuel tank size.
