Finally I can do something to make the sound more realistic - mute the telly. FML, if I wanted a moon buggy racing simulator I would gone and bought the Moon Buggy Racing Simulator.
Do these clowns at PD have ANY idea what they're doing?? I wonder how much effort was dedicated to this completely pointless sideshow?? Is Kaz a complete Michael Jackson-esque nutter who lives in a world of his own? Are his staff not telling the emperor he's naked?
Pre order cancelled on this, and other evidence of PD having lost the plot and ignoring the biggest things that needed attention ie. sounds and AI.
Jesus wept.
That's not the moon....obviously. 1st reason- You're on the moon... Secondly, the moon doesn't reflect blueish-white light. That's probably something like a White Dwarf or a Blue Giant with another planet blocking it(hence the eclipse)ummmm, at 11:57 on the video, you can see the moon in the sky...
That's not the moon, but good eye nonetheless.ummmm, at 11:57 on the video, you can see the moon in the sky...
ok thx nice find, at a quick glance though it lookied like the moon, so i was confused on why there would be two moons
Look up at night. See any white dwarf or blue giant stars the size of your thumb? That's not the moon....obviously. 1st reason- You're on the moon... Seems like a silly reason to cancel a preorder. Stomping your feet on the ground and having a tantrum about a feature that's silly is just... silly, honestly. Finally I can do something to make the sound more realistic - mute the telly. As far as I know, there is no air on the moon. The X2014 wouldn't work. Period. Only the electric cars would. The X2014 will probably have the same grip on the moon as an FGT has on an Earth track.Having said that wouldn't the X2014's fan be useless on the moon? It will be interesting to see how you need to change your driving style to be fast in lower gravity conditions.

Look up at night. See any white dwarf or blue giant stars the size of your thumb?
The Moon, a quarter of a million miles from the Earth, has more or less exactly the same night sky as the Earth does, with the nearest star being the Sun, 8.4 light minutes away and the next nearest being Proxima Centauri, 4 light years away, visible only as a pinprick of light through a telescope.
To spot a white dwarf that size in the sky it'd have to be nearer to the Moon than the Earth is - and there'd be no life on Earth as it's ripped apart by the tidal forces of an object 8,000 miles across but the same mass as the Sun just about 200,000 miles away. To see a blue giant that size in the sky it'd have to be roughly at the same distance as the orbit of Neptune and, at 5 times the temperature of the Sun, the Earth would be a charred hulk of rock.
The Moon has one important difference in its sky compared to the sky on Earth. You can no longer see the Moon in the sky, because you're on it. What it's replaced with, at a distance of about a quarter of a million miles and approximately the same width as a thumb on an outstretched arm is...
the Earth...
