GT6 missing from North American PS store

I'm hoping they release this on the US PS Store. Why wouldn't they? I think this is our best chance to play the game ASAP on the 6th. I've preordered from Game Stop for in store pick up and they open at 8 AM EST on that day. If it comes out on the PS Store then I imagine I'll be playing it even sooner.

Yup I think it's a regional issue, everyone else except NA can pre-order it. I'll check again tonight after work.

LOL. I must be very obtuse today. Still hoping for a US PSN release otherwise I'll be at gamestop at 8 AM. Game in PS3 by 8:20. Playing (downloading update) by 8:23. Actually playing who knows when

Well I'll be checking everyday because the closest GS is a bit of a journey so I'd rather start DL at midnight. If I find it at anytime I'll give you a holler and post in here.

I really hope it does come out for DL, my gamestop doesn't open till Noon eastern, I would of pre-ordered anywhere else if it wasn't for the DLC

If past history is any indicator, even if it does become available for download in the US PS store, it won't be till after everyone else in the world has disks & download available. The past 2 gt academy demos have not been available to us here in the US until way after the rest of the world had them, and way after we were told we would have them. Not sure why that has always been the case and not sure why they don't seem to be planning on US to have a download version available when a direct download has to make more money for PD/Sony since it will cut out the middle man. Seems like we are not a big market for them.

On the positive side, Mr Ridox has posted in another thread that the Hongkong PSN store announced they will have it available for download, so all you have to do is create a HK account and then you can download it (a day early even since Asia gets it on the 5th) 👍 . Also available for DL form the UK store, but that will translate into more US $.

You complain about getting this later on the PSN than the rest of the world, but I don't think that's fair. You did get the PS4 at least a week before us in the UK, still not out until the 29th here.

So for some things, you're way ahead of the rest of us.

Ridox said you need to have a HK PSN ID to download it, but it will play on any PS3, because it's tied to the account and use PSN cards for buying DLC. But yes he said it would be in English.
